Biography:

Leonard Freeman was a television writer and producer. He is best known as the creator and executive producer for the CBS television series Hawaii Five-O, the longest-running police drama in TV history (until Law & Order broke the record in 2002).

He was nominated for three Emmy Awards, including "Outstanding Drama Series - Continuing" in 1973 for Hawaii Five-O.
