Leven: I think it's important for all teens to understand they can be active in their communities and make a big difference with the proper outlets and help.
Leven: (on Ashton Kutcher's prank show "Pop Fiction") I love it, I love it! I really want to do that. I'd have to think of something really creative and mind-fucking. Maybe if I adopted a child, like a foreign child, and carried it around and took it to work and took it to a Teen Vogue party. That'd be pretty funny.
Leven: (on hosting a number of Cure Autism Now campaigns) I'm glad that I can put a face to a cause, because it's a really interesting topic. If I can draw more attention to it, I think that's really the best thing that I can do for it. I hope to be more alluring to whoever wants to cure autism.
Leven: (on her Daytime Emmy nomination) It was confirmation that I love what I do. I want to keep being successful and I really want to move forward with my career. It's a really good steppingstone to get to where I ultimately want to go.
Leven: (on her departure from the show in 2008) Four long but amazing years of my life have been spent with All My Children, and I will always look back on my experience there fondly. I was so fortunate to be in such an environment for the past 4 years. But, alas, much like my peers who are graduating high school around this time, it's time to move on. [...] I feel it is time for me as an actress to expand and have new opportunities, and I thank All My Children for respecting my decision [to leave the show].
Leven: (on the challenges of playing her character in "All My Children") I think that the biggest challenge for me is when at 8 am, I have to get in the character of Lily and have to be able to scream, yell, freak out count numbers all that stuff so early in the morning, it's so hard to get that intense sooo early, but I manage with a few cups of coffee.
Leven: (giving fashion advice) My greatest tip is to always have your own sense of style. Never let people tell you what to wear--it is important to have your own vision.
Leven: (on playing Peter Pan in a school play) I always knew that acting was what I wanted to do. That was sort of my first step into it.
Leven: (on choosing between living in New York or Los Angeles) I'd like to stay in New York for a little while. My friend gave me the best advice. She said, "Don't succumb to L.A. Wait until you have nothing to lose." Her exact words were, "It will make mincemeat of your soul."
Leven: I do love fashion! I always thought that if I wasn't an actor, I would really enjoy styling and designing.
Leven: (on moving from a series regular in "All My Children" to "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") I hope everyone watches me kick butt and do kick-ass stunts and play something besides a drunk diva or be a soap star.
