He has provided the voice for seyuu Makio Inoue's two most well-known characters, Captain Harlock and Goemon Ishikawa (although Harlock was played by Koichi Yamadera in the newest series, and replaced Pete Capllan after Harlock Saga.).

After playing with them for just over a year, Lex decided to move on to be the leading singer as well as guitarist for the band "French Kiss". "French Kiss", which was a band that played sexy blues driven rock, had toured Ireland and Europe opening for several rock groups during the year 1987.

Lex was a recipient of the Excellence in Acting Award from The JFK Center for Performing Arts and The American College Theater Festival's Outstanding Actor Award.
