Lindsay started acting at the age of eight with a guest role on Finder of Lost Loves, and singing the theme song in a "Toys R Us" commercial. After that she had several guest roles. In 1991 she had a recurring role on All My Children for 2 years. After that she appeared on a recurring base in The Bold and the Beautiful as Michael Lai from 1995-1997. Since then she has had bigger parts, such as the role of Janet Sosna on Beverly Hills, 90210. She also sang the theme song "Perhaps Perhaps, Perhaps" for the US version of Coupling, on which she also

She also dated Josh Radnor from 2008-2009, who she met when she guest starred on an episode of How I Met Your Mother.
