I love the band because it has a little bit of everything. Like Alternative, Rock, Rap, and Electronic. This band is awesome I recommend you to hear it. It is absolutly awesome. You should go to their website. Linkinpark.com it is aweosome. Their songs rock! I hope they keep on ROCKIN! Their best album is all of them I cant choose. They rock! It is Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Rob Borden, Dave Farell, Joe Hanh. If you're a hater dont bother to go to their website or to read this. Everybody should love their music because of what it says and how its played by the members.

Linkin Park is an awesome band. They have their own sound that is definitely unique. You can just tell that it's Linkin Park. Since the music is also pretty unique, you don't really get tired of it. I can just listen to Faint over and over again and not get tired of listening to it. They can combine rap into their rock and not have it stink. Usually, I hate rap, but Linkin Park has a perfect mix of it. Well, at least in Meteora. In Hybrid Theory, it was mainly just Chester singing and that got kinda boring. But then Meteora came and it's a perfect mix of Mike rapping and Chester singing (with some screaming). Minutes to Midnight had a mix of some of the old style, but it also had some slower songs. The slower songs are okay, but I still prefer Meteora's type of music. I also love the song lyrics. The song lyrics aren't just lyrics about love (heartbrokenness and stuff like that). The lyrics could be about heartbrokenness, but they could also apply to other situations. You can really relate a couple of different situations to the lyrics of their songs. The lyrics are more about a person's emotions and thoughts toward a situation, and those thoughts are something that I can really relate to. The feelings are negative ones, sure, but everyone has had those negative feelings when the world just plain sucks.

Bottom line: Linkin Park is a great band that's underappreciated. I know some people who never heard of them (Which I can not believe), but I think that many rock lovers shoudl give them a try.

  • Greatest Rock Band of All time

    Minutes to Midnight

I think this is one of the best rock albums I've ever heard. It's not fake. There's no trying to imitate another band just to make the transition smoother into the more hard rock world. It's unique to say the least. It's Linkin Park. And for what may be the first time, you can actually hear and feel the electric guitar and drum in their natural form. As God intended them to be. With Minutes To Midnight, Linkin Park break out of the nu metal genre with minimal withdrawal symptoms for their hardcore fans who have come to expect anything less from the band. This album is the rock anthem for summer 2007.

The songs vary. It has the hard rockish tunes with Chester screaming as well as the melodic tracks and a more mellowed out hip hop element by way of Shinoda who produced the album alongside the music giant Rick Rubin. Chester and Shinoda rarely mix together anymore. Instead, the band lets each one take the lead separately on separate tracks. And it works. Shinoda even writes himself a political song with "Hands Held High". On top of a marching band snare drum and a chorus of 'amens', he rhymes of Iraq: "At times like this you pray, But a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday. There's bombs in the buses, bikes, roads, inside your markets, your shops, your coves." and of Bush: "a leader so nervous in unobvious ways. Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay." But Shinoda trades rhymes for singing it out on "In Between".

Other rarities include Brad Delson leading his guitar through hard rock tracks like "Given Up", "No More Sorrow", and the U2 sounding track "Shadow of the Day" as well as a solo in tracks like "In Pieces" and the initially acoustic based "The Little Things Give You Away"; an ode to New Orleans where Chester sings: "But now there will be no mistaking. The levees are breaking. All you've ever wanted was someone to truly look up to you. And six feet under water, I do."

All in all, a very impressive album and the current love of my life. All in very cool

Seriously! They are awesome! I've been a fan ever since! I keep listening to their songs! Their songs really brings emotions and reflects some people's lives (like mine) I listen to their songs when I'm emotionally depressed. The one song that really drew my attention to them was "Numb" it's the song where too many people expect too much from you and you just wanna run away from your problems but you can't. Some songs are awesome too! Like Given up, Faint, I'm about to break. Each of the lyrics are well made. They are really one of the best bands ever! I'm sure to buy their next album!
  • The coolest and the best band ever!!

Linkin Park is the greatest band of all time (to me at least)! Their songs are very catchy, and rock! They first started off as outcasts, but are now a multi-platinum band and one of the best known in the history of music! They've made a number of albums so far, and are great to hear when you see them performing LIVE. A few albums they have are "Hybrid Theory", "Meteora", and "Minutes to Midnight"! They've also made a few remixes which are featured in their album "Reanimation". Linkin Park also has made an album with the popular Jay-Z and it's called "Collision Course".

Overall, Linkin Park has many successes and is just awesome. 10/10, and I hope they have more great achivements coming up.
  • What can I say? They're absolutly great!

Linkin Park is one of the best, if not THE best band I've ever had the pleasure of discovering. They're music is unique, and truly inspiring. They have songs for whatever kind of mood you're in. And no matter how much you listen to a particular song or group of songs, they never get old. Linkin Park is one of those rare bands that you can listen to and learn about 24/7 and never get tired of! They're music has really helped me through some hard times. They have a knack for making the greatest songs ever. All the band members are very talented in what they do. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have their music to listen to! If you've never heard the awesome sounds of Linkin Park, I greatly suggest you find an mp3 or cd right now and listen! I'm sure you'll like it!

I love Linkin Park!! They are such a good band!! I love all of their songs that they make. Their albums are awesome. I like Hybrid Theory, their first album. IT features really good songs that mix up the brands of rock and rap. Their album, Meteora, is also good I has one of my favorite songs on it, Breaking the Habit. I loved their album, Minutes to Midnight. I bought it the day it came out! It has the song Bleed It Out, which I love. Linkin Park mixes the type of alternitive rock and rap together. They make really good music!
  • If you listen to their songs over and over they never get old.

    "Superb"
Brilliant.Purely and utterly brilliant.Their sound is totally wacky and weird, and that's the way I like it.They're not like all the other bands(not until Minutes to Midnight, but I'll tell you about that after); they're unique.I didn't even know nu-metal until they came into my life.Their lyrics really talk to people.Or atleast me.I remember the first time I bought one of their CDs...

I was at Wal-Mart getting a new CD player when I decided to get a CD to go with it.I had heard Linkin Park the other day, and I really liked their songs so I bought Metora.I went home and sat on my bed, listening to the whole CD during the time.I have to say I was/am impressed deeply with it, and I kept playing it over and over.I couldn't decide a favorite (I loved them all!), but I did decide a least favorite.Easier to Run.I don't know why, but I'm just not to fond of it.I also like how the CD looks.13/13.Then there was the second one I bought: Hybrid Theory.

Oddly, I bought it at Wal-Mart, too( though I'm not sure why I was there). Is it good?Well,it has to be if I'm listening to it now!"All these words they make no sense.I find bliss in ignorence..." That's Closer to the edge if you didn't know.I love this one, too, and again, I can't decide a favorite, but I can decide a least favorite: Pushing Me Away.I like the lyrics, but the sounds just not doing it for me.But I don't hate it so it gets a 12/12.Awesome CD look, too.Regretfully, I then bought their newest album, Minutes to Midnight.

My grampa bought it for me at a CD store at the mall.I listened to it with rage. This wasn't my band!!!They swear so I can't blast it in the car with my family or in my room. Some songs are soft and caring:EWW!!!I feel so ashamed and angry with myself for liking more then half of the songs on it.I like Shadow of the Day,What I've Done, No More Sorrow, Bleed it out, and another one about war.The sound is softer at some parts, and it just doesn't sound right.Even the CD's look is dull and boring.Sorry boys,5/12.It's a tragedy...

So the overall review is unbelievably prodigious. The sound is powerfully unique and has the right amount of rock, screamo, rap, and techno:the ultimate nu-metal.I shall listen to these songs for a long time, and I will always call this band my absolute favorite.I really wish I could give it a perfect 10, but I just can't, thanks to Minutes to Midnight.Shouldn't have stepped out of your comfort zone boys.If you didn't, I might have not given you a 9.9.In conclusion, truly wonderful.Go Linkin Park!!!!

  • Linkin Park is an alternative metal band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1996 by Chester Bennington.

    "Superb"
Linkin Park was formed by frontman Chester Bennington in Los Angeles in 1996. They're best known for their hit songs What I've Done and Bleed It Out. I think Linkin Park is one of the best bands of the '90s. The band members are: lead vocalist Chester Bennington, drummer Rob Bourdan, bassist Phoenix Farrell, second vocalist Joseph Hahn, third vocalist Mike Shinoda, and guitarist Brad Delson. In 2007, their hit "What I've Done" was part of the soundtrack in Transformers. All the band members of Linkin Park were born in California, except two: Chester Bennington(born in Arizona) and Phoenix Farrell(and Massachusetts). Another hit and favorite song of mine is In The End from the album Hybrid Theory. In my opinion, they truly have great talent. I hope to continue to hear more great music from Linkin Park.
  • Greatest Fusion of Alternative Metal Rock and Hip-Hop

Even though I'm not a fan of hip-hop, Linkin Park has brought two different genres of music together to make it sound better. I listened to their debut album, "Hybrid Theory". My favorite songs are "In the End", "What I've Done", "Bleed It Out", "Given Up", "Forgotten", "Runaway", "Papercut", and "One Step Closer". "In the End" is far my most favorite nu metal single. It was the first time I heard hip-hop collaborating with alternative metal rock. The name of their band is pronounced the same as "Lincoln" for some reason. Anyway, I think Linkin Park rocks this world. I also found out that they're not the only nu metal bands around.
  • THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

    "Perfect"
Linkin Park is one of the all time great bands!!!! Linkin Park is dedicated to the music they make and the listeners who support them. Blending hardcore rock, hip-hop, and electronic music, Linkin Park has established a sound that is difficult to classify, but easy to identify. The LA-based band combines provoking rhymes and melodic vocals with neck-snapping beats, vicious guitar riffs, and dizzying scratches. Formerly named Hybrid Theory, the band describes their music as "a constantly evolving experiment." "Our goal is to bring seemingly distant elements together," says emcee Mike Shinoda, describing Linkin Park's sound and its fan base. Linkin Park is Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Joe Hahn (turntables), Mike Shinoda (vocals), and Chester Bennington (vocals). The band has released 6 album since they formed as a band.

Linkin Park is an amazing band! They have their own unique style of music that is so awesome to listen too. I love their music, beat, and lyrics. They are just an amazing band. They're definately trendstters, they're extremely talented, and they're one of the all-time greats. Linkin Park is near impossible to beat.

I love their songs Numb and Breaking the Habit. What I've Done is pretty good too, (even though it's over played WAY too much) but I like their older work better. Numb was the first song of theirs that I heard, and it's the song that got me hooked on Linkin Park. Linkin Park is just an awesome band. Enough said.

No words can describe how much i like this band and how good they are. Great band and do really good with thier music. When I listen to thier lyric, beat, and everything I see they really are a great band. Yes there are songs that you can get sick of hearing but they are a great band. Both versions of the song Numb is is great and Breaking a Habit is good too. Unfourtnely they don't have many albums so it being overused will be expected but some of the remixes are good and worth listening too. So if you haven't heard of Linkin Park and like Alternative and many other genres then give them a try.

Linkin Park is undoubetly one of my all-time favorite bands/groups. Their music is fast-paced with a great beat and excellent lyrics, and they are somewhat edgy, but in a good way. A lot of their songs are rapping-based, but I'm okay with that. It just makes the song more interesting.

One of their songs, was all it took...I just had to hear one of these guys hits to get hooked. Linkin Park are an absolutely awesome band, and go by a unique style of rock and rap combined...Settling the age ol question which of the two is better?

When I first heard their song 'In the End' being played on the radio, I was wowed, and was downloaded songs and buying their CD's faster then you could blink! And ever since that day I have loved this band, and consider to be one of the all time greats of the music industry!

  • Linkin park is one of the greatest bands of all time.Whenever I watch them on t.v they are always sophisticated and appreciative of the fans, yet they still have a dorky fun side which is fun to watch. They know how to appreciate a struggle.

I Loove Linkin Park!!!! They are truly the Greatest band around. The music they create is so original, you can listen to it for almost any mood your in.I can't wait for the new material to come out because the music scene right now is so boring and blah. When they do release their new music you just know it's gonna reach the top of the charts. The guys really work hard and knows how to appreciate the fans. They know that without us there'd be no Linkin Park and that is what I really love about them.plus they are cute.

Linkin Park was one of my favorite bands as soon as I started to get into rock music like theirs. Their songs - they just give me a good feeling, like a wave softly vibrating through my bodies and hearing senses. It's not very dramatic, but just fine.

One of my favorite songs by them is "Breaking the Habit". I don't know why, but that song just really appeals to me. When I first heard it, I thought, "Wow! What a kick-ass band!" And that was the truth from then.

They really were one of those kinds of bands, and that's why they should stay one of my favorite bands!
  • Linkin Park is one of the greatest bands of our time and they certainly have the fans and music to prove it! With a huge fanbase they wont be fasing out anytime soon. Very catchy music mixed with amazing videos makes this band truely talented msuic perfor

Linkin Park is certainly one of the most succesfull bands that have come about in a while. They have been known for there music as well as there videos. The band as a whole mix all there talent together to create all the great aspects of there band. Many people love the band linkin park but everyone knows every member is just as equally important. They offset each other to bring out thier fullest to create memerable music for everyone to listen to. Linkin Park also known for there generosity not only to there fans but to others as well. They have donated many things as well as given money for the victims of hurricane Katrina. They are truely an honorable band and should defiantely be recognized as so. Even with there loyal fan base many people still pass them up as just another rock band thats is like the crap that most people put out these days. I mean lets face it there is maybe one good song being released a month.Linkin Park on the other hand has given us a constant stream of songs that can be truely felt by everyone alike. They speak to everyone about things that they care about. While they actually more tend to be sung more for the nerds among us all and the problems many people face their music still inspires and helps many people cope through there dealing of everday life. They make records so people can relax and listen away without having to be stressed with the many problems that come with living in everyday life. Everyone has them and Linkin Park truely recognizes. I cant think of a better album to start listening to at anytime like Hybrid Theory. They are truely a band of many talents and deserve much recognition for all there achievements. I love them all and wish for the best for them always. Ill alwasy be there for them like they are for us fans.

I love all of there songs on the CD Meteora. Every song is very good. Linkin Park is one of the best bands on the face of the planet. Much better than KISS. Who knows? Maybe one day they will have their own movie or something like that. May Linkin Park rock on forever.

Linkin park is the best band in the history of forever! Their songs have smooth beats, yelling (in tune),scratching and plain acoustic guitar.

If everybody in the world listened to linkin park probobly 99% or 100% of people would at least like it, and i hope that happens. They also need to release a new cd because the last one came out in 2003!!! Bottom Line: Listen to linkin park.
  • They made a good song...

    "None"
Then reused it hundreds of times, its pathtic every song works on the same dynamic, same style of beat, same everything. The lyrics appear to come from a list of 'choose topic of angst' E.g My girlfirend and I are separating, i'm insecure, my dog died. Anyone who finds the lyrics of 'crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal' intresting has a very simple mind. The worst thing is though in their active years they have made two albums a remix album and a crossover with Jay-Z. They are already out of ideas and now have to resort to remixes.
  • Listen to what the former editor of Linkin Park has to say (for those of you who are slow, that's me).

Welcome to the 21st century, where a rock band isn't just a guitar, bass, vocals and drums. There's a DJ, two vocalists, different types of guitars, and many more. Welcome to Linkin Park.

Not a lot of people thought Linkin Park could be succesful in 2000 with Hybrid Theory. After all, rap/rock isn't a very succesful musical field. But Linkin Park proved the world otherwise. Their music isn't just straight out rap/rock, it is something completely new. Linkin Park combines loud, ear hurting music samples with much quiet, soothing music samples and Mike Shinodas fast rapping. They even put in some classical music in some of their songs, like the remix of "Crawling" and "Breaking The Habit". Beside having great sound, Linkin Park has a lot of digital art knowledge, a role which plays in all their amazing and beautiful music videos. They were extremely advanced. They were original, but a lot of people disliked them. Rumors started spreading that they are manufactured (manufactured means that they were picked out of a crowd without even knowing each other, like most boy bands), but that rumor was false because the band knew each other in high school, with the exception of Chester Bennington, who joined later. Aside from that, people thought of Linkin park as a rip-off of Limp Bizkit, but without curses. Yes, it's true, Linkin Park doesn't curse in their songs. Not because they're wussies, but because they think that cursing distracts people from the song (that is something new with rap/rock bands, once again proving that Linkin Park is original). I think that right now, Linkin Park is extremely underrated, since people take them for having small talent without actually listening to their songs.

For me, these guys have everything it takes to end up in a Rock N Roll hall of fame, and then some.
