As host of the Style Network's new interior and home design series Area, Lise Simms brings her great eye for design and passion for renovation to the network. In addition to her hosting duties, Simms is a full-time actress--she worked with Kevin Costner in Dragonfly and has a recurring role as Victor Newman's assistant, Connie Wayne, on The Young and the Restless.

From the stage to the small screen, Lise's career has spanned virtually every area of entertainment. She has starred in countless plays, including Other People's Money, Mame, Can-Can, They're Playing Our Song, Sweet

… More Charity and Bye Bye Birdie. She was also a member of the original Los Angeles cast of Beauty and the Beast and toured the world for more than two years with A Chorus Line. You may recognize her from her TV roles on Friends, Providence, Mad TV, 3rd Rock from the Sun and more.

She began her career at the age of 13 and has worked with such notables as Betty White, Jason Alexander, Lynn Redgrave, Lucie Arnaz, Courteney Cox Arquette and Marie Osmond. She even performed for President Reagan in 1988's Great Performances at the White House series, which aired on PBS.

Lise is the sixth of nine children raised by Bill and Jacque Simms in southern Colorado. Her father is a watercolor artist, and Lise attributes her great eye for design to her parents, who now live in the historic R.T. Frazier home. Frequently asked by friends and family members for her decorating advice and expertise, Simms is currently renovating her 1947 Hollywood Colonial.

    Lise Simmes is an awesome actress. She is so cool to watch.

    i personally think that she is just really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really great.

    i think that her voice is really nice to listen to. lol, i know that sounds odd, but still!

    she is really funny on the disney channels hit original series phil of the future.

    also, lise simmes is always looking EXTREMELY fantastic. she is so beautiful! in fact, shes gorgeous.

    but anyways, i think that she is very very very very very ver very very very talented.
