Loren moved to New York in order to pursue acting. He lived almost in poverty until he met a agent (through a friend of a friend).

Loren has acted on stage in Beggars in the House of Plenty and Four Dogs and a Bone.

Loren has worked with both Emily Deschanel (in Bones) and Zooey Deschanel (in Mumford).

Loren loves to play the piano. He's been playing since he was six years old.

Although Loren was born in Las Vegas, he was raised in California.

Loren's parents are now divorced.

Loren is an only child.
