Luc Besson

Luc Besson grew up his parents with his parents in several establishments of Club Med all around the world. His parents worked as diving instructors, so Luc learned to love the beauty of the deep blue.
For a long time he planned to become a marine biologist. After an accident in the age of 17 he had to give up this dream. So he started to write and make movies. His first film “Le Grand Bleu” from 1988 was a huge success and so he became famous all around the world immediately.
He wrote, produced and directed ten movies (the last in 2005), because he thinks that is enough.

… More Although he produces a lot more movies, his big passion is that to write movies. He loves to let young talents to direct his movies.
In 1997 he produced the most expensive film in European history. It’s called “The fifth Element” staring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich.

He was married a long time to Anne Parillaud and has one child with her. After that married Milla Jovovich in 1997, but got divorced again in 1999. In 2004 he got married again to Virginie Silla and has two children with her as well. He has some other children as well.
