  • Quotes

    • Lucy: (On venturing to America) I'd be mad not to give it everything I could.

    • Lucy: Marian has been written as an intelligent, witty, biting character... It feels right in a modern version to have Marian as a feisty girl.

    • Lucy: (of being cast as Marian) I had seen lots of reality TV programmes, such as Pop Idol and Pop Stars and, when they find out they've won, they all scream. But I was much quieter than that. I think I was just in shock, and it wasn't until I'd spoken to my friends that I got really excited.

    • Lucy: (of Marian) Marian is not exactly a weak character; she's physically quite able, as well as verbal, and she actually goes around doing her own fighting and protects other people. She's a strong woman and, although she loves Robin Hood desperately, you get the feeling that she could live without him because she's strong enough on her own.

    • Lucy: (of the "Robin Hood" cast) Everyone was completely new to me. They all knew that it was in their best interests to be friendly, but I just think these people are pretty damn funky! We've got a few mutual acquaintances and I've really begun to realise just how small this acting world is. We all knew we were in it together. We were filming in Budapest for six months and knew we would have to make each other family pretty quickly.

  • Not only is Lucy a beautiful Marian character, but there is something about her that creates a sense of mystery and excitement in Robin Hood. It allowed me to see a different side to Sir Guy and Robin.moreless

At the very beginning I wasn't sure about Marian, but as the story went on I loved her character. Even though she gave her heart to Robin I felt as though she did have a little special connection with Sir Guy Gisbourne. A tall dark mysteries handsome guy who to me was lost in some way, but with Marian around he felt something he never felt before for a woman. Lucy Griffith you are a great actress and I can't wait to see what you have stored for us next. I will be keeping an eye on you and several of the cast of Robin Hood except Kate.moreless
  • Amazing actor

Lucy Griffiths is a new young actor who made her way on television, beimg one of the main characters of Robin Hood 2006 aka Marian, also starring Jonas Armstrong as Robin. Now with her dead on robin Hood (which i think was a horrible thing to do to the show) - (she was the best out of the group) (her and robins secret love in the first and second season was the best part, long with the fighting of robin and his loyal crew), we will hopefully see her in a lot more television shows and even hoping to one day see her on the big screen, with a starring role of an interesting movie. She is an actor we can all hope to see soon... Amazingmoreless
