* Mae has three cats named A.C., Millie and Kramer, a dog named Leonore, a horse named Grunt, and a water turtle named Leslie (a gift from Jay Leno). She wanted the turtle because her school had Pet Day, and would not allow specific pets, such as cats and dogs. The turtle was a surprise.
