'Mama' Cass Elliot

Although she had the voice of an angel; pure, clear pitch perfect, she was so disgusting to behold, she should have been too ashamed to step out her front door.

There are absolutely NO excuses whatsoever for being THAT fat! It doesn't just "happen" - it takes years of sustained gluttony to stack on that much fat. And don't give me any of that "but it's my glands" rubbish. If you eat massive amounts of food, you'll be massive yourself... eventually.

And while we're talking appearances, let's face it... her head was no oil painting either.

Mama Cass was an incredible singer. It's sad that her life ended early, and even sadder that people tend to make her death a paraody and laugh about it. I have heard everything from her choking on a chicken sandwhich to a ham sandwhich and it really sickens me. This woman was incredible, and sang so beautifully.



I loved seeing her character on the Scooby Doo cartoon when I was a child. And a few years ago I got the honor of seeing her daughter on television, and she's a slimmer version of a wonder mother.



The world lost a great star when Mama Cass died.

Mama Cass Elliot was a ledgend in her own time. She had a voice that rocked the world. She made the 60's musically what it was. Her songs brought meaning and comfort is a very turbulent time of the era. Mama Cass Elliot performed countless numbers of times entertaining the audiences that followed her career. She always put on the best show she could to keep the fans entertained. Her untimely death took away a great singer and great performer.
