    • Mamie tried reviving her career with several lurid paperback biographies of her escapades, including (1961) My Naughty, Naughty Life. (1965) I Swing and My Wild Love Experiences.
    • Mamie turned down the lead role for the play Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? and the part went to Jayne Mansfield, who also starred in the film version as well.
