In 1999 Noto made her debut as a seiyuu when she landed a role in the anime Super B-Daman. She had previously attended the Yoyogi Animation Institute for one year before getting the role.
Noto's parents used to own a bookstore that coincidentally once sold the manga The World of Narue. Noto voiced the character Narue Nanase in the anime adaptation.
Noto has admitted that she's not very good at sports. Once during her school years in P.E. she had to play basketball and was so uninvolved that neither team knew which one she belonged on. When she was accidentally passed the ball, both teams rushed her in confusion.
