Margot Kidder will always be remembered as Lois Lane. She played the brassy female reporter well.
Her success as an actress was impressive since she was not, perhaps, a stereotypical Hollywood beauty. There was an angularity to her face that is not often seen on screen. The angularity added interest and character. Perhaps it was a bit of a throw-back to the early days of Hollywood -- which was why she was cast as the brassy lady reporter in the first place.
