I enjoy the show "Medium" but I must confess I really tune in because I am hooked on Bridge. Ever since the first season when she walked around in the red bike helmut until now, I eagerly await her banter, words of wisdom and genuine comfort in her own skin...wouldn't it be great if more people could be a little more like this cool kid? Rumor has it that she refused to comb her hair so that's how the bike helmut happened...and that she's a big fan of the goodies at craft services : ) Aww...to be that free again...I hope you are having the time of your life Maria! Superstar*
Maria is one of the reasons I watch Medium. She's smart, funny, and is authentic on the screen, coming across as a real child, and not a "child playing a child", like many child actors do.
I rarely see her in scenes with one of her adult co-stars. She's a scene stealer, so I can understand that. And I love how she relates to the other actors on the show, especially Sophia, the older actress playing her big sister.
I hope to see her in a lot more than commercials and Medium in the future, as she grows older. Go, Maria! You're awesome!
I have been watching Medium for a while now and both my Husband and I can't get over how much she is like Shirley Temple. Every time she talks I am amazed, its like watching Shirley all over again. I was pleased to see a post here that others also see the resemblence. I am interested to know if she has spent time watching and studying Shirley Temple, or if this is totally random. Hats off to her mother, for giving her the life she deserves and noticing how special she was on the day she picked her. 8)
Normally I try to avoid shows and movies with child stars who have to carry a plot. Recently there have been a few kids who are breaking out a real actors rather than just cute smiles and funny lines and Maria Lark is one of them. She portrays a real little girl in Medium and she appears to be a really well rounded kid. I started watching Medium and immediately noticed this little girl as a star. She plays to the crowd in exactly the right way dressing and acting just like a child her age should. She is a wonderful role model to girls her age who are constantly being influenced by girls who are much older and not portraying the best images from young girls to follow. Keep up the good work Maria!
Maria Lark is a bright little star with a future filled with potential. I watch the television show "Medium" regularly, and I especially await scenes in which "Bridget" appears. Maria brings this character to life, very realistically portraying a dynamo of a middle child with an independent spirit. She is a joy to watch: she has good comic timing and great chemistry with her on-screen family. This little actress always brings a smile to my face, and I expect good things from her in the future. And, although no real acting is involved, look for Maria in Norah Jones' music video "Sunrise". If you look closely, you'll spot Maria shining brightly as the face of the sun…
She has depth and the most expressive face. I hope that she gets to Australia to meet the Crocodile Hunter,. I see her future in both comedy and dramatics, and hope that the Hollywood plastic does not ruin it for her. She could have a huge career on the stage. Keep up the good work Maria, from a fan in Australia.
Maria is charismatic and plays young Brigitte in a very convincing and magical way. Brigitte is a delightful character who adds a sparkle to the series and Maria plays her very convincingly. It's a great series and all the better for Maria Larks presence. She is a talented, charismatic young actress with star quality, the likes of which I've never seen before.
I really like the show Medium but my husband and I both are on the verge of giving it up because we can't stand this actress. She is the absolute worst child actor that I've seen in a long time. Her lines are stilted and unnatural and she brings down the entire cast. The writing for her character is fine but Maria Lark can't deliver them without making the audience cringe. I've never thought an actor on a show was so bad that I felt compelled to find others of the same mindset. I went to NBC to find out if there was anyway to voice my displeasure. I couln't find one so I'll have to do with this site.
Maria is such a talent at such a young age. Although her part on 'Medium' is far from demanding, she manages to draw attention with every line. She has such a unique way of delivering her character's personality. She conveys an intelligence beyond her years by managing to understand her lines, instead of just regurgitating them as most child stars do.
I sincerely hope more opportunities await this girl!
Great young actress with unlimited potential. Maria is one of the cutest child actresses that I have seen in a long time. Maria makes my whole family, who watches the show, laugh every time she is in her scenes. She is totally believable as Arquette's daughter, cute and sweet with a great sense of humor. Hopefully she will be in movies, would definately love to see that!
Medium, my favorite show. All are great actors, what a perfect mix of talent, hope the show has a long run. Really like Maria as Bridgette. She is a very talented young lady, so natural and believable. Hope to see more of her in future episodes. This cutie is a rising star.
The show is very well done. Also realistic. I love the family and the normal way they live with a mom and children with a special gift. I love the husbands role. Please do not change it.
Maria Lark who plays Brigget is a breath of fresh air. Her role as the cutest little girl with her own free mind is go great. I enjoy her and hope to see more of her. Actually the entire cast is great.
Sofia is also talented and plays a young lady growing up. Great Job to all.
