Marilyn Manson

I really like Mariyln Manson. I just got his new album, eat me drink me a few days ago. And I have to say i'm impressed. I really like his music. Nobody else is like him, so it makes him original and unique. Way to go Manson. People think he's creepy...But he's really not. I dont understand why people have bad stigmas towards him. He's just a person in the end. My favorite song by him is I dont like the drugs, but the drugs like me. I think it's great haha. I really like the female vocals in the end of the song. Really unique.

Brian Hugh Warner took his name from Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, two of the most extreme people in history. A name that is deffenitly worthy of. You either love him to death or hate his guts. There is no middle ground. Either way, he is one of the most contraversal people in America. He is many things. Artistic, unique, talented, hot, but one thing he is not is stupid. Most people think he is mildly retarted or something. The truth is he is very intelligent, one of the smartest men I know. A lot of parents blame him for thier kids "bad" behavior. But is it really his fault that your kid is acting out? As he says bad parents make bad kids. I couldn't agree more. Yes he does cause problems, he has admitted that much, but his music is not the reason kids are acting out. He is extremely aware of the world around him. He has had super hits such as The Beautiful People, Torniquet, and his latest hit Heart Shaped Glasses. His music is just as amazing and unique as he is. It puts me in my happy place. And if you took the time to think about it, is he really that different? Or is he just saying what a lot of people out there are thinking. Well, wether you think he is a satanic beast or an unbeliveable artist he is here to stay for a long time.

Marilyn Manson is really amazing. He is apart iof the greatest band and has so many deep songs. His lyrics are amazing. Marilyn seems to be a reel cool person insode and you just want to get to know him. His bands albums are all brilliant and are getting greater and greater as he evolves as a person. I hope Marilyn Manson is around to stay for a very long time.

Marilyn Manson is a genius!!!



Marilyn Manson is the best singer and band I have ever heard. Marilyn Manson brings the great unique voice and the excellent lyrics. Tim Skold, John 5 and Zim Zum brings in the excellent guitaring. Twiggy Ramirez (and now Rob Holliday) brings the perfect bass riffs and Ginger Fish brings in the greatest drumming. Marilyn Manson are the best band ever and have brought out 5 and in a few weeks six excellent full legnth albums that I have been listening to for years Marilyn Manson is one of the only true artists today.

he should star on his own show that would be awesome i love this guy next to steven jay blum this guy has lots of great songs overall this guy rocks his name comes from mariyln monroe and charles manson so i will give this guy a 10 out of 10

Marilyn Manson is a very skilled and intelligent performer. I have listened to his music for 10 years now, and I have seen him many times on TV for the occasional interview or performance. He is well spoken, and stands up for what he believes in (even if he is not in the majority.) I really respect this man, and he deserves every bit of credit he is given. :)

Sometimes musicians or TV shows or films revolutionise something but Marilyn Manson is someone I don\\\\\\\'t quite get. I\\\\\\\'m all up for speaking your mind but not in his voice! I like something nicer sounder. He is not to blame for the Columbine shootings. Mind you, there\\\\\\\'s that song I like of his.....

~Anichrist Superstar~ This album took Marilyn Manson from underground to infamous. They let go of the cheap sound featured in their first two albums and now sounded fully like industrial metal. However, it left me with this question: Who sang "Tourniquet" first, Marilyn Manson or Rasputina?

~Mechanical Animals~ (In my opinion, his best album.) This album had a more techno sound and was the closest to goth music Marilyn Manson got to. Many of his fans rejected this for its melancholic sound, mainly due to the harshness of ~Antichrist Superstar~. However, they overlooked the emotion and beautiful lyrics.

~Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death)~ This album had a more pop-metal sound and featured my favorite song from Marilyn Manson, "The Fight Song", as well as one of my favorite lyrics, "I'm not a slave to a god that doesn't exist/I'm not a slave to world that doesn't give a shit". Some people said that this album was a recovery from ~Mechanical Animals~, but I disagree. Some people also said this was a combination of the harshness of ~Anitchrist Superstar~ and the emotion of ~Mechanical Animals~, and I do agree with that.

~The Golden Age of Grotesque~ This album, like ~Smells Like Children~, seemed to be a continuation of ~Holy Wood~ It had the same pop-metal sound. I thought the music was great, but the lyrics weren't that good. They address anti-Marilyn Manson people with this lyric: "Haters call be b*tch/Call me faggot/Call be whitey/But I am something that you'll never be".

~Lest We Forget - The Best Of~ This was a compilation of all the singles Marilyn Manson has released, excluding "Dope Hat", "I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)", and "Coma White". He also released the cover "Personal Jesus" originally done by Depeche Mode. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't have any Marilyn Manson CDs.

He has really great music especially "the reflecting God" is my favorite. There are many people who hate him becuase of who he wants to be but it's his own choice and I really admire him for that. Keep up with the great work Marinyn Manson you are the best!

Marilyn Manson is my personal favorite music artist. All most every one of his songs are great. He makes albums that you can listen to all the way though over and over again. Thats rare to find albums like that. The only two albums that suck are Smells Like Childern and Portit Of A Family.Every thing after that is great. I highly recommend Mechanical Animals, The Golden Age of Grotesgue, and Lest We Forget. These albums contain great songs and I stand by my statment that Marilyn Manson is one of the greatest artists on all time.
