    • Even though Mark was still active in the WWE and not retired at the time, he was inducted into the 2004 Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame, the only independent Hall of Fame for the Wrestling genre of sports.

    • The Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25.

    • Undertaker defeated Edge to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 24.

    • On August 29th, 1994, Mark wrestled a fake Undertaker at Summerslam. The fake Undertaker was managed by Ted Dibiase and was portrayed by Brian Lee. Mark won the match ending any dispute on whom the real Undertaker was.

    • Vickie reinstated Mark back on WWE Smackdown to beat Edge.

    • He was "banished" from the WWE by Vickie Guerrero as a result of losing to Edge at One Night Stand 2008.

    • Undertakers new submission hold where he uses his Shin to choke the oppement out is callled a "GoGoPlata" It is actually a martian Arts Move ,though he does not perform it the same way it is done in martials arts. In martial Arts The forearm is used to hold the oppement down. The move is currently banned by Smackdown Manager Vickie Guerrero.

    • The Undertaker has won the WWE Championship from Hulk Hogan (2 times), Sycho Sid, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    • He recently added a new submission hold to his arsenal known as the Gogoplata, which has caused such wrestlers like Mark Henry and Big Daddy V to tap out.

    • As a result of winning the Elimination Chamber, he is to face Edge at WrestleMania 24 for the World Heavyweight Championship.

    • At the 2008 Royal Rumble, he entered at #1 and lasted over 30 minutes. But he was eliminated by Shawn Michaels.

    • The Undertaker fought Batista at Wrestlemania 23 for the World Heavyweight Championship. He was successful.

    • On May 11th, 2007, The Undertaker had to leave the WWE due to a torn bicep, but then returned at the 2007 Unforgiven.

    • On April the 26,1998 Mark and Kane met up again at Unforgiven in Greensboro, Norht Carolina. Which during this match, the edge of the ring was surrounded with fire. Mark and Kane jumped in and out of the ring that night as they struggled to breathe in the hot air. At on point during the match, Mark leaped over the flaming ropes and landed on top of Kay outside of the ring. That night Mark defeated Kane.

    • The Undertaker made his WWE debut at the 1990 Survivor Series.

    • Mark's loss to Hart set up a Hell in a Cell match between Mark and Shawn Michaels on October 5, 1997. The match took place at the Badd Blood in St.Louis, Missouri. The ring was enclosed in a steel cage that was 16 feet tall. Both wrestlers Mark and Shawn were locked inside the cell. During the match, Michaels knowcked down a cameraman who was inside the cell. Referees opened the cell door to remove the cameraman. When the cell door was opened Michaels then escaped from the cell and climbed to the top. Mark then followed Shawn. Mark backdropped Michaels on the top of the cell. Mark later threw Michaels off the cell and into a table beside the ring. Mark then dragged Michaels back into the cell. Michaels lay on the mat as Mark got ready to do a Tombstone Piledriver. Glen Jacobs then came to the cage. Jacobs wrestles as Kane. Kane ripped the door off the cell and took Mark down with a Tombstone Piledriver. Kane's actions cost Mark the match.

    • One of Mark's biggest rivals in the last several years was Kane. They have either wrestled as opponents or partners during many matches. Kane's real name is Glen Jacobs. He is 7 ft. tall and weighed 326 pounds. In the fall of 2001, Kane and Mark held both the WWF and the WCW Tag Team titles. Mark Kept the title for more than three months. On August 3, 2001 Bret Hart challenged Mark for the title. Wrestler Michael Hickenbottom was the guest referee during the match. Michael wrestled as Shawn Michaels. Late in the match, Hart argued with Michaels. Michaels tried to hit Hart with a steel chair. Har ducked. Michaels hit Mark instead. Har then covered Mark for the pin and the title.

    • In a very famous Hell in a Cell match, the Undertaker threw Mankind (Mick Foley) off of the top of the cell and sent him through the Spanish announcer's table.

    • He was the first person to win the Royal Rumble as entrant number 30.

    • He has had multiple championships, but 5 were WWE World title reigns.

    • He has only missed 2 WrestleMania's; WrestleMania X & WrestleMania 2000

    • On March 23, 1997, Mark wrestled again for the World Championship. He wrestled Sid Vicious at the WrestleMania 13 in Chicago, Illinois. But late in the match, Bret Hart ran into the ring to help Mark. Mark then used a Tombstone Piledriver to pin Sid Vicious. Mark became the WWF World Champion for the second time. And this time, he was the fans' hero instead of a heel. Mark kept the title for more than months.

    • In January 1996, Mark again wrestled for the WWF World Championship at the Royal Rumble. This time, his opponent was Bret Hart. During the match, Kevin Nash jumped in to help Hart. At the time, Nash wrestled as Diesel. The referee disqualified Hart because of Diesel's actions. But Hart still kept his title.

    • In January, of 1994 Mark had another chance at the World Championship. He wrestled Rodney Anoia at the Royal Rumble in Providence, Rhode Island. Anoia wrestled as Yokozuna. Mark and Yokozuna wrestled in a casket match. In this match, the first wrestler to lock his opponent into a casket wins.Yokozunia was much larger than Mark. At the time, he weighted almost 600 pounds. Yokozunia needed the help of several other wrestlers to stuff Mark into the casket. Yokozunia won the match and kept the title.
      In November of 1994, Mark again faced Yokozunia in a casket match. This time, Mark defeated Yokozunia. But one thing was that the match was not for the WWF World Championship.

    • He recently injured his bicep at Backlash 2007 during his Last Man Standing Match vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship, but he won the match.

    • In 1992, Mark wrestled Ric Flair several times for the WWF World Championship. But Mark could not defeat Flair for the title.

    • In early 1992, Mark's character changed from a heel to a baby face. Mark got involved in a match between Aurlian Smith Jr. and Randy Poffo. Smith wrestles as Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Poffp wrestles as "Macho Man" Randy Savage. During the match, Mark rescued Savage's wife, Miss Elizabeth. Mark's actions made him even more popular with the fans.

    • In November of 1991, Mark competed for his first WWF title. He defeated Hulk Hogan at Survivor Series to become the WWF World Champion. Mark's championship lasted onl on week. On December 3, 1991 Hogan defeated Mark to win back the title. But Mark had shown WWF officials and fans that he had the skills to be a top WWF wrestler.

    • He was in the original Punjabi Prison Match, which was created by The Great Khali. He was supposed to face Khali, but Khali vacated the match due to elevated liver enzymes. Big Show was the replacement, but ended up losing the match to the Undertaker.

    • His 3rd Wrestlmania match, which was against Giant Gonzales, was his only win by disqualification. This was because Harvey Wippleman gave Gonzales a rag soaked in chloroform and he used it to knock the Undertaker unconscious, giving him the win. But after he was carried out on a stretcher, he rushed back and attacked Gonzales.

    • He defeated Batista at Wrestlemania 23 for the World Heavyweight Title.

    • He created the Last Ride, Buried Alive, Hell in a Cell, and the Casket matches.

    • On March 24, 1991 Mark celebrated both his birthday and one of his biggest matches. At wrestleMania 7, he wrestled James Reiher, better known as Jimmy Superfly Snuka. Mark won his match using the Tombstone Piledriver and scored his first WrestleMania victory. Mark continued to win matches during the summer and the fall of 1991. Mark defeated wrestlers such as James Hellwig, better known as the Ultimate Warrior.

    • When Mark joined WWF Bruce Prichard known as Brother Love managed Mark. Then in early 1991, Mark decided he needed a new manager, so Mark remembered his old friend William Moody from his early days of wrestling in Texas. So Mark asked Moody to manage him. So in 1991 Moody became one of the most famous managers in the WWF, so he took the name Paul Bearer. During the matches, Bearer wore white makeup on his face and dark makeup around his eyes. He brought smoky pots and containers called urns to the ring. Bearer told everybody the pots and the urns contained Mark's secret powers.Mark and Bearer worked so well together. Soon the fans began to cheer for Mark.

    • On January 1991, Mark competed in the Royal Rumble. Mark tossed Bret Hart, Kerry Von Erich, and Butch Miller out of the ring. Joseph Laurinaitis and Michael Hegstrand then teamed up to throw Mark out of the ring. Laurinaitis and Hegstrand are better known as the wrestlers Legion of Doom.

    • When Mark signed a contract in November, 1990 with owner Vince McMahon the WWF officials decided that Mark needed a new character and a new look. They came up with a character called The Undertaker. Many years ago, funeral directors were called undertakers. So in the ring, Mark dressed like an Old West undertaker from the late 1800's. He wore a long black overcoat and a black hat. Organ music played as he walked into the ring.

    • In the fall of 1990, the NWA chose not to renew Mark's contract. But Mark's wrestling career was not over. Mark met Vince McMahon who owns the WWF. In November of 1990, McMahon signed Mark to a contract.

    • Mark joined a popular NWA tag team. Dan Spivey and Sid Eudy were known as the Skyscrapers. Eudy wrestles as Psycho Sid Vicious. Vicious was hurt in a match and could not wrestle, so Mark replaced Vicious as Spivey's partner. The team became known as The New Skyscrapers.

    • Other professional wrestling companies noticed Mark's success, so in early 1990, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) offered Mark a contract. This company later became WCW. Mark moved to Altanta, Gerogia to wrestle for the NWA.

    • When Mark joined the NWA as a heel named Mean Mark Callous, he often broke rules to win matches. Mark sometimes hit his opponents with metal chairs or other props.

    • On October 5, 1989, Mark defeated Eric Embry for the USWA Texas Heavyweight Championship. Then on October 20, Mark lost the title to Kerry Adkisson. Adkisson wrestled as Kerry Von Erich.
      Mary held each of these two championships only about two weeks. His losses did not discourage him. Mark had been in the USWA only about six months and had already won two championships.

    • On April 1, 1989 Mark faced Jerry "The King" Lawler for the USWA Unified Heavyweight Championship. The match took place in Memphis. Lawler was one of the USWA's most popular wrestlers. Mark defeated Lawler to win his first professional wrestling title. But two weeks later, Lawler won the title back from Mark. After losing to Lawler, Mark went back to Texas to compete in USWA events there. That is when Mark changed his wrestling name to the Punisher.

    • In Mark's 1985-86 college year, Mark attended professional wrestling matches. He met people who were in the wrestling business. Mark started training to become a professional wrestler. After graduation, he wanted to become a professional wrestler.

    • In 1986 Mark started working as an independent wrestler. He wrestled at small shows which was attended by a few hundred fans. Many times, he didn't make enough money to buy his gas to and from the event.

    • In 1986, Mark quit college to concentrate on wrestling. Mark trained as a wrestler during th day and worked at a bar at night. He didn't make much money, but he was learning about professional wrestling.

    • In 1989 Mark got a job with the United States Wrestling Alliance (USWA). The wrestling organization had companies in Memphis, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas. The USWA was not as large or as well known as the WWF.But Mark would have the chance to wrestle in from of thousands of people. He would make more money.

    • The Undertaker had major matches and they were at least 9 major matches.
      November 27, 1991- Mark defeats Hulk Hogan to win his first WWF World Championship.
      March 23, 1997- Mark defeats Sid Vicious to win the WWF World Championship for the second time.
      June 28, 1998- Mark defeats Mankind in one of the WWF's most famous cage matches.
      July 26,1998- Mark teams up with Stone Cold Steve Austin to win the WWF's tag team title.
      May 23, 1999- Mark defeats Steve Austin to win his third WWF World Championship.
      April 17, 2001- Mark teams up with Kane to win the WWF Tag Team Championship.
      August 7, 2001- Mark and Kane win the WCW Tag Team Championship.
      August 19, 2001- Mark and Kane win their second WWF Tag Team title.
      December 9, 2001- Mark defeats Rob Van Dam to win the WWF Hardcore Championship.

      Now, their is another one to add to this list, his win over Batista for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 23.

    • On November 27, 1991, at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The World Wrestling Federation WWF was in Detroit for the Survivor Series. Hulk Hogan's opponent was Mark Callaway, better known as The Undertaker.

    • On the November 3, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, He & Kane beat Ken Kennedy & MVP.

    • On the October 20, 2006 edition of SmackDown!, He beat Gregory Helms.

    • Undertaker will appear in the new movie from WWE Films, Jornade Del Muerte, in which fellow WWE stars, Triple H and Batista, are set to appear.

    • Mark and Sara currently have two daughters together, Chasey (born in 2002) and Gracie(born in 2005). Mark also has two sons, Gunner Vincent (born 1993) and Kevin Dakota (born in 1996), with his first wife, Jodi Lynn.

    • On September 22, 2006, He beat King Booker by DQ on SmackDown!

    • When Calaway was in WCW, he was in a tag team called, The Skyscrapers, which was manage by Teddy Long (Now Smackdown Genral Manager).

    • He defeated Test at Summerslam 2002.

    • August 18, 2006- He beat The Great Khali in a Last Man Standing Match on SmackDown.

    • The Undertaker's First WWF/E Manager was Brother Love not Paul Bearer. Brother Love gave The Undertaker to Paul Bearer to manage a Couple months later.

    • August 4, 2006- He beat Booker T by DQ on SmackDown.

    • He debuted in the first ever Hell in a Cell match aganst Shawn Michaels.

    • He defeated Booker T at No Mercy 2001.

    • He was frequently in casket matches. 2 of the most famous ones came against the late great Yokozuna. The first one was at Royal Rumble 1994. Undertaker had the match won (WWF Title was on the line) when he was assaulted by at least 7 guys. The rematch came at that year's Survivor Series. Karate expert Chuck Norris was at ringside to make sure there was no interference(Undertaker won).

    • Although they resemble each other slightly, there is no family relation between The Undertaker and Kane.

    • Mark went to Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas on a Basketball Scholarship.
