Mark: (on growing up in a tough neighborhood) I lived in an area that within two blocks in any direction, there was major gang activity. It could have really been easy for me to go in that direction but it was my mother's upbringing and some guidance from my tenth grade English teacher that kept me on the straight and narrow.

Mark Christopher Lawrence: Fear of a Black Hat is probably the only thing I've ever done that I watch and I have no regrets. Sometimes you watch something and you go, "Ah, I should have done this, I should have done that, I should have said this line like that," and I watch that and just laugh every time.
