Mark has a cat named Cairo.

Mark: I prefer to do a drama, but not necessarily too heavy. I like to be able to find the humor on my own or have writers who kind of write a the situations that feel a little more realistic and then you can find the humor in the situation. That's kind of what I really like to do - to have a mix of both.
Mark: I just love doing quality shows. I was on a soap for a long time. So, I sort of had enough of that. (laughter)
Mark: Having a film career is pretty hard. There's not a lot of people out there that have one. It's a harder life unless you're a star. TV... this is the gravy and butter. It has the ability to be topical, funny, dramatic and significant.
Mark: (revealing what he has learned playing Brad Chase on "Boston Legal") From James Spader I'm learning what to take seriously, from William Shatner I'm learning what not to take seriously and from Candice Bergen I'm learning the wisdom to know the difference.
Mark: (He and Shatner are co-stars in "Boston Legal") There are numerous immutable laws of our universe, one of which is that it is impossible to steal a scene with William Shatner around, nor anyone else in our cast, for that matter. They are all hardened criminals.
