Marshall Faulk

He has his own charity, the Marshall Faulk Foundation.

He officialy announced his retirement on March 26, 2007.

During the 2006 NFL season, Marshall Faulk served as an analyst for NFL Total Access.

While at George Washington Carver High School, he played four different positions; running back, wide receiver, cornerback and quaterback. He also lettered in track and field.

He was on the cover of the 2003 edition of the Madden videogame.

He has been compared to Gale Sayers, Roger Craig and Thurman Thomas.

He wore the number 28.

He played the position of running back.

His career high in touchdowns came in the 2000 with 18. His career high in rushing yards came in 1999 with 1,381. His career number of touchdowns is 136, while his career number in rushing yards in 12, 279. He career number in carries is 2,836.

He was the youngest of six boys in his family.

He holds the record for most touchdowns in the NCAA with 62.

He was named the 1994 AP rookie of the year.

He went to San Diego State for college. While at San Diego State, he ran for an NCAA-record 386 yards on Septmeber 14, 1991.

Marshall appeared in the Pro bowl from 1994-1995 and 1998-2002. In the 1995 Pro bowl, he won the MVP.

Marshall was traded to the Rams before the 1999 season. He won the Super Bowl with the Rams during the 1998 season.

Marshall was drafted 2nd overall by the Indianapolis Colts in 1994.
