Scorsese is probably only second to Spielberg when it comes to directing movies (that's still alive, anyways). And that's saying something.

Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Casino... These are among my top 20 films of all-time. These are the movies that I can watch time and time again, and still be captivated by the story and picture.
I heard that he was considering Raging Bull as his last film, and I am so glad that he didn't quit. Scorsese single handedly guided me to loving crime/gangster movies, and I thank him for that.
