Matt Dillon

Matt Dillon has made some really good movies and has been around a long time now.

He got some good breaks young with movies like The Outsides (Let's do it for Johnny!) and the Flamingo Kid.

But he's steadily made lots of good movies. Something About Mary, Wild Things, Crash.

Personally I thought he did a great job as the jerk in My Bodyguard.

Surprisingly, Dillon has never done many big action movies or scifi flicks. Wonder why.

Regardless, he's a solid actor with a several decade body of good work.

Matt Dillon is a true actor. You really believe that he got into acting because he loves it for what it is. You'll never see him in any tabloids and you won't hear any gossip about him. In his roles, you sense more realism than many other actor's who are considered more talented than he. Of all of his roles in all of his movies, my favorite has to be "Crash."
