    Submission Guidlines

Submissions for Matt Hill are more than welcome, but please follow these guidlines. Please note that I pulled this directly off of the TV.com Person Submission Guidlines

    Trivia

Appearances in and of themselves are typically not Trivia since they are already listed on the page under All Appearances. It is acceptable to submit TV appearances if the show does not currently have an entry on TV.com. However, see below for the submission of related material. If they had an appearance on a show that is listed on TV.com, but their appearance isn't under All Appearances, submit them for the show/episodes that they appeared. Once the editor or staff approves your submission, they appear automatically under the celebrity's Appearances.

Trivia should typically be about the person you're submitting for. Unless it has a direct bearing on the person's life, what their mother, grandfather, dentist, etc., did is not acceptable.

Trivia should be confirmed facts that have actually occurred, not rumors. News about future events is iffy and it's typically better to wait until such events have occurred and can be confirmed. Likewise, try not to submit info that will need regular updating, such as upcoming movie appearances, scores and statistics for their current season, etc.

Do not submit mailing addresses and off-site URLs.

Please do not submit "Trivia" that can be easily determined by information already on the page such as birthdate (i.e., astrological signs, year of high school graduation, their current age, shared birthdays etc.).

Whenever possible, all related material should be combined into a single submission. This refers primarily to brief one-line items, but can include taking a Biography and breaking it up into separate Trivia submissions. This includes but is not limited to: movies and roles, sporting statistics and awards, physical description, family members, discographies, and favorites.

Do not post "constant update" Trivia. i.e., Trivia that is simply a continuing update of something in their lives. "

Editing a submission only to add a link to another person or show on TV.com or other CNET sites isn't necessary, given search capabilities and inter-site links on each page.

    Quotes

Quotes can be cut-n-pasted for the purposes of accuracy, and as copyright law does not cover public statements. Q&A-type copyrighted interviews belonging to web sites, magazines, etc., in part or in whole, are not acceptable. Wholesale cut-n-paste from another site's copyrighted database in any number is not acceptable.

Quotes should always be formatted to tv.com standards. The name is bolded using HTML start and end tags, the colon is not. At least one space follows the colon. The quotation itself is not in quotation marks. Contextual material is italicized and separated from the bulk of text using brackets or parentheses. If another format is used on the page, please correct it. Do not use BB code. An example of HTML tags usage:

    < strong>Matt Hill< /strong>: Matt Hill's Quote.

If it is nessecary to include an action or what Matt Hill is talking about, simply insert this into the quote:

    < em>(What Matt Hill is talking about)< /em>

When you put these together, the should look like this

    < strong>Matt Hill< /strong>: < em>(What Matt Hill is talking about)< /em> Matt Hill's Quote.

    Examples for a Correct Submission

    Matt Hill: Smile A LOT!

Matt Hill: (while being interviewed)Become your own imsparation. (please note that quotes from interviews are not acceptable)

    Example of an Incorrect Submission

Matt Hill: Smile A LOT! (There are no bold tags)

"Smile A LOT!" -Matt Hill (No quotation marks are allowed and the name must come first)

    Forum Guidlines

    1. Follow the Terms of Service, or ToS. If you don't follow the Terms of Service, you don't get service. Violating the ToS can lead to topics being locked or deleted, posts being deleted, suspension for up to 7 days, or permanent banning. Creating new accounts to bypass a ban is a ToS violation and can lead to more serious consequences. For clarification on any of these rules, you can refer to the TV.com Community Terms of Service at any time.

    2. Certain types of topics will not be allowed. These include, but are not limited to: "I'm new" threads, "bored threads", game threads, website advertisements, topics aimed at a certain person (use private messages instead), fan-fiction, fan-art, or role playing threads, and off-topic threads.

    3. Off-topic posting is not allowed. This means creating a topic/post about a topic other than Spongebob Squarepants. It doesn't matter if it "leads back to Spongebob in the end", off-topic posts will be reported as a ToS violation.

    4. Spamming is absolutely not allowed and will be reported immediately.

    5. Flaming, insulting, or bashing other users is not allowed. Also, if someone flames you, report it using the "Report Abuse to Moderator" option. Do not flame them back, as you will also be in violation of the ToS.

    6. Any offensive posts will be reported.

    7. No discussion of illegal activities. This is not only illegal, but also a ToS violation.

    8. If a topic is made and it is deleted or locked, do not re-post it.

    9. Do not make meaningless or one word posts such as "Yeah." These posts do not add anything to the conversation and are considered spam.

    Speacial Thanks to

Jaxiecracks and TVcom_Moderator For all of this information.
