Matthew J. Evans was born on August, 9, 1996 in San Luis Obispo, California. Matthew began his career in musical theater when he was four years old. In 2005 Matthew and his Mom began commuting to L.A. for t.v. and film auditions. Since then he has guest starred in a number of TV shows including "All Of Us", "Drake & Josh" (recurring), "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "King of Queens", "Zoey 101" and "Cavemen". He appeared in the feature films "Smiley Face" (2007) and "Downstream" (2009). Matthew plays Garrett Tiara opposite Cameron Diaz in the Columbia Pictures 2011 release "Bad
… More Teacher" Matthew sings, dances (tap, jazz, hip hop and ballroom) and plays guitar and bass He is also an award winning filmmaker and in 2009 won 1st place in the middle school division at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival for his documentary "Staying Spry". In 2010 Matthew won a scholarship to Interlochen Arts Academy Film Camp for his documentary short film "A War Story, A Love Story" and in 2011 he has won awards for his powerful documentary "Poetic Justice Project"
