I think that was when he was ending his whole drug problem.
My favorite Matthew Perry role was chandler but I also loved his role as Matt Albie. He the best actor in the WORLD!!!!

Chandler Bing's one of the most hilarious characters I've seen on TV ever! And I can't imagine anyone else playing him other than Matthew.

MP had a serious alcohol and vicodin (a painkiller) addiction and finally at the end of s6 he got some help for that and went into rehab and ended up losing like 20 lbs or more. Thats why hes so much thinner there than at s6.Anyway, Ive seen MP in other roles but no one will compare to his role as Chandler. I can not imagine anyone else doing this role and he made him my favorite character there. He can always crack me up, hes a good physical comedian, has great comedic timing, hes really got at the more emotional aspects of it, and not to mention hes hot as he11. I love him!
