    • Maurice's favorite musicians are George Gershwin, Steely Dan, Burt Bacharach, and Ludwig van Beethoven. He also says he would love to "live at the Disney Concert Hall for the Winter Season of the L.A. Philharmonic." His favorite books are Dialogs of Plato Groucho: The Life and Times of Julius Henry Marx, Blink, and The Sociopath Next Door. His favorite films are Arthur, The In-Laws, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, The Princess Bride, The Man Who Would Be King, Unbreakable, and Flesh Gordon. His favorite television shows are Heroes, Monk, Smallville, Rome, Dexter, Police Squad! (In Color), and Lookwell.

    • As a child, Maurice felt ostracized by his friends and family, as he did not enjoy, nor was interested in, hockey.
