    • Meera gave birth to her second child, Shaan, on December 2nd 2005. Shaan's father is Meera's second husband, Sanjeev Bhaskar.

    • In January 2005, Meera married Sanjeev Bhaskar- who has appeared on many shows with her, including Goodness Gracious Me, and The Kumars at Number 42.

    • Meera attended Manchester University, where she read English and Drama. In her final year there, she won the National Student Drama Award.
