Melissa Fahn

In June 2004, she performed with the "Wicked" ensemble in the 58th Annual Tony Awards during both the opening number and Defying Gravity.

In September 2004, she finished performing as an ensemble member of the musical "Wicked" at the Gershwin theatre in New York City and has recently performed in readings of the new musical "Camille" at the York Theatre in New York.

Due to a rib injury in 2004, she reportedly could not perform certain dance moves, including lifts. However, she is fine now.

She performed her first show as Glinda in "Wicked", in Los Angeles, Sunday September 30th, 2007 for the matinee performance.

Melissa Fahn has commonly been mistaken for providing the voice talent of the Tales of the Abyss character, Anise Tatlin. However, she has denied any affiliation to the character, and confirmed that Jolie Jackson is the actual voice actress.

On June 27th, 2007, Melissa Fahn attended the first "Wicked Wednesday" event in Universal Studios Hollywood. She performed as Glinda and with Julie Reiber as Elphaba and Carol Kane as Madame Morrible the event's Emcee. She sang "Popular" and the duet "For Good" with Reiber.

She performed with Kim Huber in the daytime drama, "Passions", as young Ezmerelda. The episode was a spoof on the musical "Wicked", a musical that Melissa has performed in many times, currently in Los Angeles.

Melissa was the featured Coloratura Soloist in Vox Lumiere, a production where eight singers and four musicians perform music to silent films.

In 2004, she was in the interview for the main voice actors of Invader Zim, now on Disc 2 of the Invader Zim volume 1 DVD. She was the only one shown to have a squeaky pig toy. In volumes 2 and 3, she also is featured on many of the commentary tracks, most notably for episodes "Game Slave 2", "Gaz, Taster of Pork", and "The Most Horrible X-Mas Ever".

She voiced Okuni in the video game, Samurai Warriors.

She voiced Rebecca Chamberin the video game, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles even though she was uncredited.

She voiced Himiko and Huang Yue Ying in the video game, Kessen II.

She voiced Asia, Fiore and Gob Princess in the video game, Wild Arms 4.

While voicing Tia in the anime series Zatch Bell!, she reprises the same role in the video games, Zatch Bell! Mamodo Battles and Zatch Bell! Mamodo Fury.

She voiced Conchita in the video game, God Hand.

She voiced Rika Nonaka in the video game, Digimon Rumble Arena.

She voiced Charlotte Aulin in the video game, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.

She voiced Sara Trantoul in the video game, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.

Her first solo album is called, "Avignon".

She met husband Joel Alpers while performing with Vox Lumiere. He was the drummer/percussionist and Melissa was the coloratura soprano of the group.

She has returned to Wicked for the LA production where she is reprising her role in the ensemble as well as understudying Glinda again.

She revoiced the character Sojiro, the boy killer, in the final episodes of Rurouni Kenshin, replacing actress Lynn Fischer, even though is was uncredited. She cites it as one of her most challenging roles and many anime fans consider it one of her best roles.

She's a clasically trained singer and has recorded songs and parodies in many genres, including rock, pop, country, broadway, and more. She's also an accomplished Opera singer with a Coloratura range, from an F below Low C to an F above High C.

She's currently recording her debut album, "Avignon," which is being produced by her husband, Joel Alpers, who is also drumming on the record.

She is the youngest of four siblings, she has three older brothers, Jazz Trombonist Michael Fahn, and actors Tom and Jonathan Fahn. Her sisters-in-law are Dorothy Elias-Fahn and Jennie Fahn.

Melissa Fahn auditioned for the role of Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid and was called back several times. However, in the end, Jodi Benson beat her out for the role. Although she lost, she went onto voice Betty Boop shortly after.
