    I can't believe that they were not going to hire Melissa for the role of Sookie and they were going to have someone else.  I think that she is the best Sookie ever and she plays her sooooo well.

    Yeah they were going to have the girl who plays the harp in a few episodes in the first season play her, but she already had another tv show so she just guest stared on a few episodes but still, I think it would have been weird not haveing her as sookie.
