she is a very talented actress ansd she is hilarious!! she should be accknowledged more in my opinion cause shes great!!!!! she really is perfect for the role of sookie...............and when her and jackson got together it was the cutest thing!! i love her so much..shes completly adorable! shes such a lovable character..and melissa does it sooo well you can really relate to the lovable character of sookie. shes increible talented....................................................

and she always trys to help everyone and give friendly advice. she usually ends up just sounding stupid and funny!! ans she really is talented and very believable in her character!

I have been a huge Melissa McCarthy fan since I have seen acting in Gilmore Girls as her character Sookie St.James. I think that she was perfect for the role and was really happy to learn that they replaced another actress with her for the role. I was really happy to learn that she was choosen for a role on Samantha Who? evan though I have not seen the show I bet she is great in her role. I reall like seening her different acting capiblities in different movies like White Oleander and the Life of David Gale which she did great in.

Melissa McCarthy played Sookie on the hit show gilmore girls. She played Lauren (Lorelai)'s best friend. Sookie was a very funny and very good advice giving cook with a soft heart and was very sweet. Melissa did an excellent job with her role as Sookie. One of my favorite actors on the show. She is definatly a person that you can look up to.

She is easily one of the funniest comediennes acting today. She lights up every scene she's in, and her comic timely is impeccable. She is just enough of a comedienne to be hysterically funny but never borders into slapstick, unlike her cousin often does. She seems to be a lovely and down-to-earth person. (Her interview on extra of the Gilmore Girls' DVD about her family hiding in closets is so funny.)



She and Lauren Graham are wonderfully compatible together as actors and very believable as best friends on "Gilmore Girls". She is very underused on the show, and is definitely someone I'd love to see in more shows or movies. She really feels like one of Hollywood's best-kept secrets.

Melissa is perfect for her role on Gilmore Girls. Her relationship to the characters really shows during the show. In recent season, she has had more important roles. She always seems to be the one to help the show in moments where there would be the "ackward silnence". Melissa is such a wonderful actress and hope to see more of her in the future.
