Hood suffers flashbacks to his time in prison. He recalls conversations with Rabbit who resents him for his theft and taking his daughter Anna (Carrie) away from him so he arranges for Hood to be punished in prison. It becomes clear that it was prison where he learned to punch (and take a punch). Proctor tries to return to the good graces of the local tribes who control the casino and want more land to develop. He blackmails the local Rev Ramsey to sell his property. A drifter named Wicks comes to town who recognizes Hood from prison. He gets in trouble at the casino and Hood has to bail him out. He threatens to expose Hood.Carrie learns her son will soon need a lung transplant.

Infamous serial killer Joe Caroll has escaped from prison and Ryan Hardy, the FBI agent who had him arrested, is called in to help the police try and find him. But Ryan soon learns that Caroll has made himself a number of followers over the internet as part of a huge game he has planned for Ryan.

After getting settled in as the new sheriff, Hood meets his team at the local police department. The sheriffs team catches wind of a rave party at a local farm house and decide to break it up. Drugs dispensed by Proctors men result in some kids at the party getting sick and worse. Hood breaks the party up using his own personal brand of justice. Proctor seeks revenge on the drug dealer who brings unnecessary attention his way.

In the conclusion of a two-part episode, the Aster Corporation increases its interest in Jake, which forces Martin to join forces with Abigail Kelsey. When Avram convinces Martin that Jake and Amelia are connected, Martin begins a quest to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, the situation is intensified when Lucy, a mother whose daughter shares the same gift as Jake, becomes involved in the mission and the seemingly unrelated events are tied together.

When a contract killer murders a Navy Lieutenant Commander, the NCIS has to find out the motive behind it, and Abby learns valuable information about the case after going through a series of kidney donation tests.
