Meredith says that the hardest job she ever had to do in her life was waitressing. She quit her job as a waitress after only two hours.

After she appeared in the Couting Crows video Hanging Around, Meredith was featured their next video, Mrs. Potter's Lullaby.

Before she attended Harvard, Meredith had an amazing acting career, but when she returned, she was never as popular as before. In 2006, Meredith was featured in a VH1's special titled 100 Greatest Teen Stars.

She recorded a song titled Flow Through Me with Koishii & Hush.

In 1988, Meredith was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her performance in a movie titled A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon.

She won a Young Artist Award in 1985 for her performance in a movie titled The Journey of Natty Gann.

She was nominated for a Saturn Award in 1988, for her supporting actress performance in The Kiss, a horror movie.

Her first appearance on television was in 1993, when she appeared in an episode of HBO's series Tales from the Crypt.
