For an actor so easily recognized by his physical stature, I am constantly amazed at his versatility as an actor. From a drama like "The Green Mile" to comedies like his role in "Two and A Half Men" to action movies like "Daredevil", he has created a very wide ranging career.

I hope "The Finder" TV show makes it!

  • Wow! What A Great Actor God has given us.

I have just reviewed David Morse for his part in Green Mile but the biggest star in the Green Mile was Michael, I have cried so much watching that film, the second biggest stars were of course Tom Hanks and David Morse who played their parts so sensitively, but Michael's part as John Coffey made you sit up and think, I was really surprised as well to discover that Stephen King wrote the book/novel all I have ever known him to write are horrors such as Carrie and others that I have been too scared to read or watch but what will always stand out in my mind is Michael he will always have a Fan in me.
  • ttaul757@netzero.com... I met Michael in 1996 in South Carolina. Unless there are 2 guys who look extremely alike. After all, he was so tall that he could not stand up inside the office that I saw him in.

    Hi Michael:

I believe that we met in South Carolina in approximately 1996. I am the lady in red. I believe that you owe me a white Samoan puppy. You told me that your uncle raised them. If you do remember me, then contact at ttaul757@netzero.com...this was prior to you being in the Green Mile. I helped you escape what could have been an ugly scene. I grew up in Charleston, SC. I lived in Chicago, IL from 1998 to 2006. I liked you when I met you in our brief encounter in SC. Those guys didn't fix my car either. In fact I had to go to a different mechanic. I saw that you had 9 cats in a bio. I love animals too. This is just from a lady who thought of you then as the "gentle giant". I had a bad experience in South Carolina, and had to leave for a job transfer anyway. I am now in Kansas City area moving to Texas eventually. I just wanted to say "hi". I hope that you are well. Remember, some of us are always friends no matter what. Those guys ripped me off too. Write sometime. ttaul757@netzero.com ... Presently, I am a database programmer, who will be looking for a job in the Ft. Worth, Texas area soon. Take care. Good fortune to you always. ps. I am considered to be an eccentric astrologer / psychic by some, but that is just a hobby.

Michael Clarke Duncan is that really huge dude that you see in all of the movies. He has actually developed into a decent actor. You really believe that he got into acting because he loves it for what it is. In his roles, you sense more realism than many other actor's who are considered more talented than he. Of all of his roles in all of his movies, my favorite has to be "The Green Mile."
  • An amazing actor with a lot to offer!

I could quite happily say that I think Michael Clarke Duncan is one of the best actors around today! He can do a large range of films from being a voice in a childrens film to being a big hearted innocent man on death row in The Green Mile to being in a violent film like Sin City.He is an amazing actor and truly does have a lot to offer!

I find that Michael is a very talanted actor who should be used more often. He finds a way to bring you into the story with him and makes you love or hate him. He is estremely versitle. In The Green Mile. I found myself crying at the end of the movie because I hated his character in the beginning as he made that happen but in the end you just had to love him and that is also due to his talent in acting. There are not a lot of actors who can do that in one movie. A great actor who should be used more often in films.
