Michael was taken to the hospital while filming Goodfellas because he broke a glass in his hand. When he got to the E.R., the doctors tried to treat him for the fake gunshot wound he had on his chest because of the movie.

Michael thought it would be interesting for his show The Sopranos to end with his character Christopher being killed by his former fiance Adriana, who Christopher had killed for turning FBI informant.
