How can you be so gross & insensitive TV.COM . . . to ask us to 'vote' for the best performer at Michael's Memorial Service?

    HOW TACKY of you!!!

Each of the performers and speakers spoke & sang from their hearts!

This was NOT a "performance" to be voted on. . . . but, rather, loving tributes to an awesome entertainer and beloved Father, Son, and Friend.

    Jermaine.

But it was the talk by Brooke Shields and the words of Michael's daughter that were most poignant, reminding everyone that Michael was a human being, just like you and I, and that the circus was largely of our creation rather than his.

This isn't the time to be holding contest off a Memorial service. Let's all remember it as a very classy and heartfelt service. I did notice that you left Usher out of the list and actually that would have been my choice.

This is sick and disgusting. PLEASE REMOVE THIS! What kind of horrible company is CBS for putting up a poll like this? Show a little respect.

    RIP Michael Jackson the King

Yeah I have to agree with some people here that conducting a poll to find the best performance of a memorial service , whether its Michael Jackson's or not , seems out of touch and a bit insensitive. It belittles the service and its disrespectful to the family members and loved ones of the deceased. Yes you had high caliber talent performing at the memorial but this wasn't a concert. They gave their talents out of respect and to make the memorial beautiful and worthy of a man that is one of the biggest entertainers in history. The memorial wasn't about "who was better". Its not to be judged.

Costello and Mistyluv -- I agree with both of you. The speech by Brooke Shields and Usher's performance were the two things that made me start crying. Jermaine singing "Smile" was very emotional, too. I was glad to see Michael's daughter make her comment. I think it helped show people that she is real -- something I think most people tend to not believe when it comes to Michael's 3 kids. Hopefully it put to rest some of the comments about what kind of a father he was.

To whoever is doing this I think it's very tacky, Michael Jackson was and still is very Important to all of us people who cared about him so. This is time to mourn over him not to be playing contest. I agree with what both Margritmorin and biglittlewill said. If you want to know who the best performer was i say it's Jermaine Jackson he did a great job singing Michael's favorite song (SMILE) and being able to hold back the tears. I also think Paris did a great job getting up there and saying those sweet words to her Father. The Whole Memorial was wonderful and all the speakers and performers did A wonderful job. So to the Jackson Family I send you my love and condolences. Michael was a wonderful man, he will alway's be in my thoughts and in my heart.

where I live in Murrieta Calif there is still alot of people who play Michaels music.

RIP Michael Love you very much

    Tina
