Michael: (on if he will move back to Australia after being eliminated on American Idol) No, no -- I live here in America now. Will I live in Australia again maybe when I'm older? I don't know. But for me, my life and career are here. I love it here. I've been here 10 years. My whole adult life has been here. I'm going to be living here for the rest of my life.

Michael: (on other Aussies who have contacted Michael and have said they loved him) I got a reach-out from Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman saying that I was their favorite and they watched every week. It's just amazing how far this show reaches.

Michael: (on being really into the group numbers on American Idol) Dave Cook and I tried to bring as much light to it as [we] could. If you take that stuff too seriously, you end up looking like an idiot. We went the other way with it -- just trying to have fun with it and laugh. I actually really enjoyed Wednesdays. Not Thursdays, but Wednesdays! [laughs]
