Michael Keaton

Michael Keaton is a solid, fun actor who has produced a great body of work. His version of Batman was extremely well done and a real departure for a guy who had been primarily a comic actor.

His comic movies have some classics and cult hits. Beetle Juice was fantastically dark and ridiculous. Mr. Mom was a surprise hit and Johnny Dangerously was a surprisingly good, low-brow farce. Night Shift was also a big hit in the 80s.

A huge star in the 80s who has shown staying power as a character actor and mid-level star in the 90s and 2000s. An impressive career.

I am watching "Beetle Juice" for the umpteenth time, and each time I marvel at what a great an actor Michael Keaton is. He plays that character with gusto. Michael Keaton's acting in it is excellent. Contrast this over-the-top role of Beetle Juice with his playing Batman. Johnny Dangerously, Mr. Mom, Bill in Night Shift, Chick Hicks are all very different roles, but all are played marvelously by Keaton. His three best roles are Batman, Mr. Mom, and Beetle Juice. Interestingly, two of these roles are with Tim Burton. I have read that fans were upset at the thought of Keaton playing Batman. One hopes that all were finally satisfied with his superb performance.

Michael Keaton is a true actor. You really believe that he got into acting because he loves it for what it is. You'll never see him in any tabloids and you won't hear any gossip about him. In his roles, you sense more realism than many other actor's who are considered more talented than he. Of all of his roles in all of his movies, my favorite has to be "Batman."

My favorite movie is beetlejuice and I just think that michael keaton was a great choice for the role of beetlegeuse! He is one talented actor! It's amazing how he changed his voice for the role and everything! He is amazing! Is there really anything more that I should say, other than he rocks? I don't think so...

Michael Keaton is most known for appearing in the first two Batman movies as Batman. He is the 2nd best Batman actor,IMO, with Adam West being the best. I also enjoyed his performance in the movies Jack Frost and White Noise. That's all I know him from. In White Noise, he did a great job as Jonathan Rivers, the main character in this horror film, although I'm not much of a horror fan. In Jack Frost, he did a good job as Jack Frost, once again, the main character, but he could've done better. He is very talented and has a great voice, but could use a little bit of improvement.

I have seen all of the Batman movies with him in it, and now I wish he did Batman in Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Batman Returns is the best Batman movie he was ever in. I also wonder whatever happened to Catwoman at the end of Batman Returns. Maybe one day he will be doing Batman in any sequels to Batman & Robin. You are one of the best Keaton.
