Michael Lynche began singing as a child as a backup singer for his brother. To get himself ready for American Idol performances, he relaxes by listening to some R & B. Michael was inspired to sing by Kenny Rogers. Michael is married and has one child. His wife gave birth while he was at American Idol auditions in Hollywood.
