Michael Massee, an American actor, was born in 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in Paris, France where his father worked for UNESCO. Massee's acting specialty has been that of villain roles in many films and television series. Besides screen acting, Michael is a versatile voice actor. He provided the voice for the villain Spellbinder in the animated series Batman. His voice was also used for the character Bruce Banner in Ultimate Avengers and its sequel, Ultimate Avengers 2. Among his film appearances include Seven, with actors Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, Lost Highway and Carnivale. He was featured as the antagonist in the NBC series Revelations in 2005. Massee's other TV series appearances include Flash Forward, Rizzoli & Isles and Supernatural. Michael Massee accidentally shot and killed actor Brandon Lee in 1993 following a gun malfunction during filming of The Crow. This accident caused Michael much suffering, leading to his self-imposed absence from acting for one year.
