    • Michelle: My ultimate dream, I'm dying to do theatre. You know, that's really, really what I'd like to do.

    • Michelle: It feels like a natural progression but there are still moments when I want to pinch myself to make sure it's real. All of it seems like it is a natural progression and that it has been going in the right direction and it feels right.

    • Michelle: (referring to 2005 when she had several movie projects) But it seems that every job that I get feels like a big breakout thing for me, because I've never had it before, obviously. But this year, in particular, has been very special.

    • Michelle: Die Hard is a good example of a movie that was a great movie that just happened to have action in it, but I don't think of it is an action movie.

    • Michelle: It's an industry town. It's Hollywood, so I think people are most fascinated by people who are in the industry. And mainly if you're famous. You've got to be a famous producer or director and I think that's what appeals to most people in the dating crowd.

    • Michelle: (on acting) It's really challenging for me, it puts the fear of God in me and I am so absolutely fulfilled by it. I really am. I hope I can do it for the rest of my life.

    • Michelle: And I think no matter what - how much rejection that I have had I've still always been like all right, well that's all right, you just keep foraging ahead.

    • Michelle: (on road trips) It's hard to be in a car with someone for three or four days. Little, tiny things will start to get on your nerves. So it's kind of a microcosm of marriage.

    • Michelle: I've got a pretty blue sense of humor. So, I'm pretty much game for anything. I couldn't think of something, off the top of my head, that's really offensive to me. Violence is. But as far as comedy, you can pretty much go anywhere.

    • Michelle: As a woman in Hollywood, you don't always want to be that damsel in distress or that victim.

    • Michelle: (On her acting career) Challenging myself is paramount to me and if I didn't I would be really be very bored. I feel very fortunate to be in this career, so I just want to try every little genre and thing that I can to see where it takes me.

    • Michelle: I am always so nervous before starting a film and that (nervousness) is the one constant in my life. It's that constant fear that I have always had, but have learned to thrive on. Now I am in a position that I can thrive on it. I have been there many times before and it's incredibly fulfilling if you tackle your fears, I guess.

    • Michelle: You know I think it's hard in any film when you're kissing someone who you don't really have genuine feelings for... but at the same time it's our job so... there are worse things I could be doing on that particular day than kissing Tom Cruise I suppose... I'm not going to complain.
