    • Michiko used to have a tamagocchi pet and raised it for fun.

    • When Michiko first chose her career path as a seiyuu, her parents were against it and they even stopped talking for a while. Michiko told her parents that she was going to study shodou (calligraphy using a Japanese brush) instead and attended calligraphy school as well as a seiyuu school at the same time.

    • Michiko has appeared in a few popular Japanese magazines in which she has done news reports, interviews, photo shoots, etc. Some such magazine's she's been featured in includes Animedia, Virtual Idol, Megu, Voice Animage and Dengeki G's Magazine.

    • Michiko has voiced characters on numerous radio and CD dramas including her role as Ryou Midorikawa in Noel La Neige Message -Mada minu anata he- [CD], Sato Mako in nitial D Kuroi Inazuma: Aratanaru Fuhai Densetsu [CD], Melkyuul in Digital Ange Dennou Tenshi SS [radio], Eriki Natori in Hoshi no Oka Gakuen Monogatari Gakuensai [radio/CD] and Reika Amamiya in Choukou Senki Kikaiou [CD].

    • Michiko has made a guest appearance at many special events such as the "Shin Cutey Honey event" on February 28, 1994; the "Tokyo Toy Show" on June 4, 1995; the "Anime Seiyuu Daikoushin" on August 2, 1995; the "Tokyo Game Show 97 Autumn" on September 7, 1997 and the "Gatekeepers 21 event in Suginami Koukaidou" on May 11, 2002.

    • On the anime Fancy Lala, Neya voiced the role of both Mogu and Ririka Kawaguchi.

    • On January 17, 1997, Michiko released a soundtrack album called Doukyuusei Mahjong Premium. It was a "present" for those who bought the first edition of the playstation game Doukyuusei Mahjong Premium. It contains 15 tracks, the first being a song by Koorogi Satomi, and the rest being short voice data tracks. This CD is only 8 minutes long.

    • Michiko has voiced characters in Japanese video games including the role as Erika in Hoshi no Oka Gakuen Monogatari Gakuensai, Karura & Tomonaga Azuki in Brave Saga, Beauty Ichigaya in Wrestle Angels Survivor, Sophitia in the Soul Calibur series and Rose in the Street Fighter Alpha series.

    • Neya voiced Myuun on the CD drama Shinpi no Sekai El Hazard. This drama is a fantasy love story full of action and adventure. It also was an OAV series that began during Spring of 1995, and a TV anime that began in October of 1995.

    • In the 1996 August edition of the Japanese magazine Megu, Neya did a 6 page interview spread that included photos as well.

    • Michiko has made a guest appearance on a few radio shows inlcuding Shiny Night On March 30, 1996, Anime Scramble on May 3, 1996 and L Station on March 14, 1997.

    • Michiko was cast the part of Naomi Jones in the animated 100-minute long Japanese movie, 6 Angels.

    • In the 2 episode OAV, Initial D: Extra Stage, Neya performed the ending theme "NEXT" with Kakazu Yumi.

    • Eating and sleeping often are two of Michiko's favorite things to.

    • Along with the other members in her seiyuu group, "The Gun Smith Cats", Neya
      performed the theme songs on the OAV, Hateshinai Toiki and Nantoka Shinakya!. They also appeared in the Gun Smith Cats chapter zero video.

    • Michiko is apart of a seiyuu group called "The Gun Smith Cats". This group also includes Kae Araki and Aya Hisakawa. They are the three main voice actresses in the anime Gun Smith Cats.

    • From 2001 to 2005, Neya worked under the Japanese talent agency, Arts Vision.

    • Michiko has not officially been affiliated with any company since 2005.
