After chasing Yoite off, Kotarou has the remaining Fuuma ninja treat the wounded while he makes up causes of death for the dead. Thanks to the Fuuma ninja, Miharu's group is treated of their injuries and even Kumohira is saved. Later, after everyone has gathered before Kotarou, Miharu learns of the past of the Shinrabanshou and what will happen to the user if it is removed.moreless

Yuko and Watanuki visit the fine foods area of a department store. Watanuki notices a pair of identical twins, one of whom is quite outgoing and the other is rather quiet and shy. He senses something strange about the quiet girl, that she is always putting herself down. Yuko explains that words can be powerful. Later on Watanuki and Doumeki encounter the twins at a restaurant where the outgoing twin is working, and she invites them to a group date at the movies. Watanuki discovers spirits hovering around but then notices something even more alarming about the quiet twin.moreless
While Watanuki is busy clearing out Yuko's storage area, a woman stops by and asks about one of the items, which is shaped like some kind of thermos or kaleidoscope tube. Yuko lets her borrow it but she warns the woman never to open it. Later, Watanuki discovers that the woman is a student teacher who is working on her thesis. The woman had not opened the tube yet, but then in an accident on the stairs, the object flies in the air, and ends up being opened. The woman discovers the item is a monkey's paw, which grants wishes to the user. But as with any monkey's paw legend, there are tragic consequences for every wish.moreless
Yuuko takes Watanuki to a fortune teller's place but the person there isn't the one she is familiar with. She has the person tell Watanuki his fortune, which impresses Watanuki at first, but afterwards Yuuko shows Watanuki that the reading is just parlor tricks and psychology. Yuuko then takes Watanuki to a real fortune teller, who reveals some interesting information about Watanuki.moreless
Walking down a crowded street, Kimihiro Watanuki is followed by spirits, which only he can see. However, the spirits disperse as he touches the gate of a mysterious shop; his feet then uncontrollably walk him inside where he is greeted by two assistants, Maru and Moro, of Yūko Ichihara. Watanuki soon discovers that Yūko is a witch who grants wishes, for a price. Out of desperation, Watanuki accepts Yūko's help. Watanuki realizes he has just been tricked into working for Yūko in order to pay off the cost of her services. Watanuki will discover the pasts of her customers and the unimaginable secrets they have. moreless
Mytho has been kidnapped by Kraehe, and the heart shard of love has been removed. Duck and Fakir join together to search for the prince. Kraehe strikes a deal with Drosselmyer - if he gives her a stage to perform on, she will give him the best ending for his story. He agrees. Fakir and Duck find Mytho. He says that the knight was useless in protecting him, and he had to fight the raven alone, sacrificing his own heart to seal the raven. Rue tells Duck that Tutu had a very small role in the story, and is hardly worth mentioning. She certainly couldn't win the prince's heart.Then she reveals her true identity, and calls Duck "Princess Tutu". Mytho was actually a crow, and Kraehe was just distracting them while taking the prince's sword from Fakir. Kraehe leaves. Fakir and Duck keep searching and run into Edel, who leads them to the entrance to where Kraehe and Mytho are. Edel says she's just a puppet with no feelings, but she is touched when Duck hugs her. Duck and Fakir head into the passageway. The run into some ravens who knock them off of a bridge and into a chasm, where they have to swim to the lake where Mytho and Kraehe are. Duck also reveals that she's really a duck, and Fakir is embarassed that he cried in front of her. They face off against Kraehe, who tells Tutu that she will let Mytho go and return his heart shard. If each of the princesses reveal their feelings, and the heart shard chooses Tutu.moreless

Duck kind of becomes friends with Rue. Rue and Mytho are a couple, but Mytho feels nothing for the other. When a girl (she's an anteater by the way) asks him out, he agrees, forsaking Rue. He doesn't understand why it's wrong. The anteater is bitter and jealous of Rue, because she dances better than her. She and Mytho have a dance-off with Rue. Rue chooses Duck as her partner, and they win. Duck finds out that the anteater is being influenced by a shard of prince Mytho's heart. She transforms into Tutu and convinces the heart shard to return to Mytho. Mytho regains a feeling, which worries Fakir.moreless
Spike and Jet are after a man named Abdul Hakim who is on the run after stealing a very valuable briefcase from a laboratory, though what makes it difficult is because Hakim usually gets plastic surgery to avoid being spotted. While Spike goes out to look for Hakim, a two-bit thief manages to steal Hakim’s briefcase and manages to slip away before Hakim grabs him. The thief eventually opens the briefcase and discovers that it’s just a common Welsh Corgi that isn’t worth more than a fistful of Woolongs, so why is Hakim after the dog so badly?moreless
