Mike and his wife Willa love the Villa O restaurant in Dallas, Texas. One night they struck up a conversation with the Villa O's VP Steve Elsea and Mike mentioned that they really liked the restaurant's special coffee cups as well as their espresso cups. Mr. Elsea ordered six new espresso cups and six new coffee cups and gave them to the couple to thank them for their patronage. Mike and Willa now use them when guests come over for coffee.

Mike married longtime girlfriend Willa Ford in Athens, Texas on August 25, 2007. It is the first marriage for both.
