Actress-singer-comedienne Mimi Hines started performing in nightclubs at age 19. It was at the Last Chance Saloon in Alaska in 1952 that she met her future husband and partner Phil Ford. Together they appeared on several television variety programs in the 1950's and made a name for themselves. In 1965 Mimi took over for the departing Barbra Streisand in the Broadway original production of "Funny Girl" with Phil Ford playing Eddie Ryan. Mimi divorced Phil in 1972 but they continued performing together. Mimi has appeared on television programs such as "Love, America Style" and "Frasier", appearing on numerous talk shows.
