Molly Shannon, - One of the funniest people to grace the screen of SNL, or almost one of the funniest. Molly joined the cast in 1995 and stayed with the show for almost 7 years. Leaving to do, well nothing. Her most famous character would have to be Mary Katherine Gallagher. She found some success with the film Superstar and following projects, but not a break out star like Ferrell. With the failed show Kath and Kim, i still have high hopes for Molly as she is really funny but yet has not found her way after leaving SNL. I wish the best of luck to her
Molly Shannon is by far one of the most comical and kind hearted actresses of our time. She has played many humorous roles in several different movies. In which, she has excelled to a high level of personal achievement. There are not to many other actresses who can me or anyone else with a good sense of humor nearly die from so much laughter. The time she spent on Saturday Night live was definetely worth watching. She was very funny to watch and you could tell through her acting how sincere and kind hearted she actually is, not too many actors or actresses possess this quality.
We all remember her from the golden days on SNL, but now she's hardly used for anything. We remember her as Mary Katherine, the shy schoolgirl and the movie that came from that script, but where is she now? Please Bring her back and give her a show! She is a very talented woman.
