Morena said that Fan Expo '06 in Toronto that she was a big fan of Grey's Anatomy.

Morena confirmed in an interview with About.com (6/16/05) that she is signed on for three Serenity movies, but said that she did not know whether or not the other two would be made.

Morena currently lives in both New York and Los Angeles, splitting her time between the cities depending on whether she is working on stage or screen.

The role of Inara on Firefly was originally given to Rebecca Gayheart. Morena had been asked to audition on the first call but had declined because she was in New York at the time. When she returned to Los Angeles her agent called to tell her the role was open again and she auditioned that same afternoon.

Morena was rumored to be on the short list of actresses who were being considered for the film version of Wonder Woman which was to be written and directed by Joss Whedon. The project was eventually shelved, however, and the casting decisions, if any, were never made public.
