    • Morena: (on her mother being an actress did not relate to her also pursue a acting career) My mom is an actress, but she never really pushed me into it, and it was never something I thought I would be doing. She was very happy I decided to, but she certainly doesn't offer me criticism because she knows I'd tell her to shut up! Nobody wants to hear that from their mum!

    • Morena: I love it when you have a lull in the day and you turn on the TV and a random movie is on that you either have never seen or haven't seen in years. Like 'Coming to America' or 'Misery' or 'Moonstruck.'

    • Morena: (on wanting to do more movies) I've love to do more movies. Just because I'm interested in the medium very much. I've done a lot of theatre at this point, and I've done a lot of TV. I've done a few independent films, but a lot of them have not seen the light of day. It'd be really nice to be in a film that gets out there.

    • Morena: (on being able to be an actress) I can't complain. I'm making a living out of what I do, which is really rare for a lot of actors. The hard part is staying confident and staying with it.

    • Morena: Women work as much as men now, if not more. There's a resurgence of dads in the home and moms working.

    • Morena: There are many people who live with terrorism every day.

    • Morena:
The sky above us is something we have very little control of, and the space beyond is something we don't completely understand.

    • Morena: (on road trips) I love a good road trip. And I have been known to sing cheesy '80s songs at the top of my lungs on a windy road when no one can hear.

    • Morena: (on keeping up with current news) I'm not always up to date on everything that's going on, but I am somewhat informed. I listen to NPR. And I actually watch Fox News, because I believe, if you just listen to the things that agree with you, you're not really seeing anything else.

    • Morena: (on her family being involved in performing arts) My whole family is very artistic - my uncles are all actors and theater directors.

    • Morena: (on enjoying cooking) I'm an avid cook. Brazilian, some Italian, a little French. And I often throw dinner parties.

Morena Baccarin: (discussing Firefly after more than 10 years) It's crazy. It's one of those shows that just doesn't go away. In a great way. Really. I mean it was the first TV show I ever did. And it's still the thing when I'm walking down the street that people stop and say "You're good in Homeland but Firefly! I love that show!"

This experience is going to be incredible." And that's just how it worked, everything seemed so easy and it just flowed. Believe me when I tell you it's not easy. It's not easy auditioning day after day after day, but when something falls into place like that it's just incredible.

    • Morena Baccarin: (Discussing fans of her show Firefly) It's not just that crazy fan adulation. It's an actual common ground, it's respectful. It's a two-way street. They have an intelligence an understanding of the show that goes beyond what just being a fan is.

  • Brilliant actress with stunningly gorgeous looks. It doesn't get any better than that!

First off, the television series and movie were excellent and I enjoyed every scene and character interaction during its relatively short run. Having said that, I found myself hoping that Morena would be in every scene while I was watching. When she was in the scene, she stole every moment with her brilliant characterization, interaction with other characters, and last, but definitely not least, how stunningly gorgeous she is. I don't want my acknowledgement of her beauty to make anyone reading this think that this is the only reason I enjoyed her acting. I thought the way she played off the other actors was incredible and it always left me wanting more of her on-screen interactions. If you've watched the show you know exactly what I mean. She has everything going for her and I can't wait to see her in more roles in the future!moreless

This girl has got to be one of the most beautiful and hottest women I have ever seen. Shes so smooth in her acting of course her role on Firefly required this. I have heard that she was on Stargate as well but I only have only seen her on Firefly. She is a magnet draws you in. She plays a companion on Firefly and does a great job being a seducteress!!!!!moreless
