    • Morey attended the re-write sessions for The Dick Van Dyke Show. Van Dyke said, in TV Guide 8/3/1963, that 30% of the comedy lines in the show came from Amsterdam.

    • Desipite their on-screen barbs, Morey and his Dick Van Dyke foil Richard Deacon were good friends. They recorded a comedy album together in 1963 called "Funny You Should Ask".
