Now that Morgan Fairchild\'s character, Sophia Blakely, has shaken things up on \"Fashion House,\" the show is worth watching just to see the lovely actress conspire against Maria, Bo Derek\'s character. Looking perky in purple - must be Morgan\'s or the wardrobe person\'s favorite color - Morgan brings class and style to anything she\'s in. Even here, where she has campy and hilarious catfights on a regular basis with Bo Derek. Face-slapping, hair-pulling, vase-throwing, wedding cake-smashing - you name it, Morgan does it! All in the name of prime-time fun! It\'s great to see an actress not afraid to embrace a role that some might say she has been stereotyped for. Her evil turns on \'80s serials like \"Flamingo Road\" and \"Falcon Crest\" made her a staple of small-screen antics. As fun as Morgan is to watch in these roles, fans unfamiliar with her earlier work should check out her 1982 thriller \"The Seduction,\" where she plays a news reporter stalked by an obsessive fan (Andrew Stevens). This was her first starring vehicle for the big-screen and has become a cult classic, recently issued on DVD. It\'s too bad that Morgan hasn\'t had many big screen turns - a fashion exec in \"Campus Man\" and The Mayor in \"Phantom Of The Mall:Eric\'s Revenge,\" are a couple - but as long as she\'s socking Bo Derek across the face on \"Fashion House,\" I\'m happy that she is consistently working and is as entertaining as ever.
