Nancy Yoon is exploding on the scene in television, film and commercials with beauty, style and one spunky personality.
Keeping her busy and at the forefront of entertainment, she currently hosts "Tribal Media," an international pop culture show covering music, film and politics that affect young Americans and Asian Americans today. She is also the "DVDJ" of insidedvd.com, a popular web site covering the latest DVD releases with interviews from such Hollywood notables as Tom Sizemore, Producer of "Saving Private Ryan," Andrew Fleming, Director of the "The Craft," and "Dick," with Kirsten Dunst.
Her professionalism and talent has also been seen as the co-star on CBS's number #1 rated drama, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." The episode "The Accused is Entitled," where she portrayed the sexy femme fatale character, Kim Hsu, drew ratings of over 28 million viewers and great reviews, including Michael Lucas of L.A. Her talents extend to politics, running a Congressional Campaign in 2000, working with California delegates in the Capitol building, organizing high visibility political events, and managing publicity for a major race in the 24th District of California.
Using her entertainment contacts and experience, she co-produced special events for the 25th Anniversary of the F16 Fighter Jets for the U.S. Airforce at Edwards Airforce base and worked with the U.S.O. to support troops overseas. She is also active in the community and enjoys volunteering for the Motion Picture and Television Fund Home, Neil Bogart/TJ Martel Foundation, V.I.T.A., Jewish Home for the Aging, Habitat for Humanity, Chrysalis Foundation, and the American Heart Association. Watch for her women's line of bags and accessories called "Nancy & Stella" to become the next fashion statement, which she co-designs and markets.
Rounding out her resume are roles in a few upcoming independent films, many national commercials, the voice of Teddy Ruxpin, and currently the model of Alejandra and Jermaine Jackson's AFA Designs.
As the ultimate tomboy, Nancy grew up being the youngest of five daughters in a large Korean family in Los Angeles, California. She discovered acting at the tender age of eight, as the lead character Coldy Cricket, in her elementary school play. Many more theater productions followed, until she pursued her parents' wishes of becoming a CPA. A graduate of California State University Northridge with a Business Administration degree, Nancy paid her dues in a major CPA firm and worked in Corporate Disney. Her "creative" career blossomed as she became part of the talent department team at Disney Channel, famous for discovering and working with such talents as N'Sync, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Expanding on her expertise on "Tween" Programming, Nancy held the position as Director of Marketing at Fox Family Worldwide. There she played a major role in marketing and developing musical concerts on the network with talent and musical artists including Hayden Christianson and Destiny's Child.
In her free time, she enjoys being "Julia Child," decorating and baking, and says she makes a mean chocolate soufflé and crème brulee. As an actress, producer, host, model and singer, Nancy says "you can do anything with hard work, patience, diligence and lots of faith!"
