He wouldn't act like a jerk. He's a very affectionate man and he loves his fans. He enjoys meeting us. I know you wouldn't be disappointed in him if you met him.

I mean it when I say he makes you feel at ease. I don't know how he does that, but he sure does. I didn't think I'd be able to form a sentence when I met him, but that didn't happen at all. I had no trouble talking to him.

Somehow, you don't even think about the fact that he's beyond gorgeous in person. His personality totally out shines his looks by far. He is so much better looking in person than he is on screen or film as well. It surprised me that I paid no attention to that at all when I was talking to him.

Did you read about another fans encounter on the Firefly boards, she ran into him at a mall...I think that's what happened. I would have loved to meet him like that, not a ton of other fans around. Just me and him!!! That's like a lot of dreams I've had.

I didn't see that one, but several people have run into him that way. I would like that also, but he still doesn't spend much time talking to you. He's usually doing something in those situations.

What I'd really love is to be able to work with him.

Well, he probably gets tons of fan encounters I mean whenever he goes out in public he's bound to meet at least one or two people every time. I would imagine after some time it would get a little annoying, not because he doesn't want to meet fans but just because it happens so frequently. At least at conventions he's prepared and the focus isn't completely on him.

It would be so amazing to work with him, and I don't even want to be an actor!

I think he's still able to go places without getting bothered. I don't know how much longer that will last, though. He's becoming more and more popular.

I would be fine with being crew or something. He treats everybody the same. It doesn't matter if you aren't the cast. You're still part of the team.

It would be fun to work with him, I mean from what I could imagine. He seems like such a funny comical kinda guy, too. And yet he can be serious. That's defenitely something good to be around, especially when you are on the set of a movie/tv show. You need to be able to switch moods like that at the drop of a hat.

Thank you. I'm glad we can use larger ones now. You can actually tell it's Nathan.

I know being able to use larger icons and being able to pick out own defenitely makes things better, though I still kept a pretty small one, I'm really glad we can use our own a lot of shows didn't have icons here.

Heh, yeah, he's my hero too. On a different subject, I'm very excited about Drive. Did you see that Waitress got picked up for $4 million by Fox Searchlight at Sundance? I'm excited that it will be released as well. I'm not too hopeful about White Noise: The Light. It didn't do well in the UK at all. I'm thinking that it will go straight to video in the US. That's unfortunate.

I'm so glad Nathan is having better luck with his film career not but you are right about White Noise: The Light. The fact that the first film wansn't that succesful pretty much set the bar really low for the second, no matter who they had cast. I mean there's only so much a good actor can do for a film, no matter who the actor is. The fact that it didn't do well in the Uk doesn't bode well either, obviously.

The first one was a major hit. A lot of people didn't end up liking it, but it made a lot of money. I think people not liking it is what hurt the second one.

At least Waitress and Drive have a chance.

No. It was a hit. The budget was $10 million. Opening weekend, it grossed $24.1 million and overall it grossed $55.9 million. That's just in the US. It did well elsewhere also. I'd say it was a hit.

I don't know what the budget for White Noise: The Light was, but it grossed $1.4 million on opening weekend and $2.5 million total in the UK. That is not good. I'm thinking it will go straight to video here if we get it at all.
